Remarkably painless. Location proves strategic - a mere 8 minute 23 second constitutional to Zhangjiajie's park gates. Breakfast apparatus adequate (self-serve coffee machine produced tolerable espresso, surprising given the circumstances).  Facilities performed to specification:  Gym equipment maintained at acceptable levels of oxidation Billiard table pockets demonstrated appropriate receptivity Laundry operations prevented sartorial disaster post-monsoon hike The concierge team displayed unsettling competence - mapped three days' itinerary with alarming precision. One almost felt guilty observing their systematized efficiency.  Ground floor establishment yielded passable dumplings (though the 'Stinky Tofu Incident' shall remain classified).

Exceptionally nice hotel. The facilities are great, hotel staff is very friendly and helpful! Everything is quite new and well designed, and looks like in the photos. I would book this hotel again without hesitation if I come back to Wulingyuan.

Loved everything, location is close to the park gate. Stuff was friendly and open to communication, ready to help. The manager helped us to book tickets in advance with little discount. She made the perfect route for a two days trip, so we didn’t have to line for hours. Thanks❤️

Foggy Valley has been an amazing stay near the entrance to the zhangjiajie park. The staff were really nice and attentive. They offered us free transportation almost anywhere we needed. There are also 3 sweet cats and 2 dogs around that made our stay more enjoyable. 10/10 experience!

Magnificent Hotel in walking distance to the Jianpiao entrance of the Zhangjiajie National Park. It provides fantastic amenities with a swimming pool, billiard and free laundry. The restaurant offers asian and western style food for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a good choice of quality dishes served in a timely manner. The front desk is responsive via WeChat and explain all you need to know about the national park and provide an optimized itinerary so you don't miss the attractions. They even offered to help us out if we encounter an issue in the park.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Perfect location away from the crowds—we almost had the place to ourselves. Waking up to mountain views from the terrace at breakfast was unreal. Cool blues music, friendly chats with the owner (thanks, translator app!), and even proper beers and Chilean wine. The pool was clean, room had a projector for movie nights, and those floor-to-ceiling windows… wow. If you want peace, stunning scenery, and a genuine family-run vibe, this is it. Best atmosphere we’ve found!
