a wonderful setting in a vast parklike ground with beautiful big trees ( palms, mango etc), somehow hidden on the fringe of a busy town. A perfect place to get a rest from a longer road trip or for a stop on the way back to Bogota. Especially the huge and great pool with super pleasant temperature was perfect for laps swimming and relaxation. Even more since there is another shallow one for kids and one more in the parc area as well a a turkish bath and a "bubble tub"..... If we had known about the place better and earlier, we would have planned to stay a little longer. I read about unremoved dishes etc and couldn`t see any of these complaints justified while we where there and even if- the garden-setting, the spacious room, the design and the very friendly staff and their service would have outweighted it anyway.

The hotel is nice and cosy, small with only about 8 rooms. First day mid week we were practically on our own, like in a finca. It has air conditioning and ventilators in each room. Green areas are really nice. Breakfast (included) is good, great choice of eggs, fruit, juice and coffee or hot chocolate. Food is good but relatively expensive and there is practically nothing reachable within a walking distance (rather rural). Aside breakfast there is only “a la carte” food at the “restaurant”, which is only a kitchen (not extra dinning room available, but the employees offered to put tables next to the pool or on the hallway in front of the room( which worked well). It had really good qualifications at booking.com and price was quite good, so we took it. Not regret at all. Very good for adults, for children not really many attractions aside from the pool (no extra children pool). There is a ping pong table.
