The place is just amazing, it's the definition of tropical paradise. Lazing in the hammocks all day with a Coco Loco was the definition of chill. The real plus of this place was the wildlife, the monkeys, birds, iguanas and pigs that are constantly around give the place a really wild feel even if they are rescued animals. Reading previous reviews about staff being rude, we initially felt the same and undoubtedly some of the staff were a bit moody to begin with but after a day they opened up a bit and were super friendly, knowing a little Spanish and returning your cups to the bar went a long way. We also expected the worst from the food reading previous reviews but actually found it not only to be reasonably priced but really good. I think other reviewers may be long term travellers/backpackers and not used to having to pay $10 twice a day for a meal, but if you're on vacation for 2-3 weeks it felt very reasonable. Our room was great, we stayed in the treehouse and although it was very basic the whole aesthetic added to the tropical island vibe. Would 100% recommend this place.

Very beautiful hotel on a magnificent location 5 km from rincon del Mar. If you like peace and having the beach for yourself this is perfect. You need to get a small boat from Rincon del Mar to get there ( Cop 100.000 4 pax ) The place itself is beautiful and stylish. The food is good You can take the boat or walk ( 1,5 - 2 hours ) to Rincon for lots of good restaurants as well .

Situated in San Onofre, Casita Caribe en reserva natural, playa privada, kayaks, wifi, aire acondicionado provides accommodation with a solarium and an open-air bath.

This beautiful house fits perfectly into the amazing scenery of the nature reserve, it is equipped with everything you need and also what you didn't know you would need. Excellently fully equipped. The location is breathtaking, the sea is clean and refreshing, and as a bonus, you get a beautiful view of the pelicans hunting. Not to mention the millions of stars in the sky. The staff was amazing, the communication about the reservation was fast, accurate and pleasant. I don't give usually the highest rating, but for this accommodation, any other rating than 10 is out of the question. I hope to be able to come back here one day!

We stayed at this hotel for the last part of our trip in Colombia and we are grateful for every minute of it. The island is paradise, with big palm trees and crystal clear water. The staff at the hotel was amazing with us, they took the time to greet us and they were very welcoming of our 3 years old who could freely discover all their kids games. We chose the bungalow deluxe and we woke up every morning with a breathtaking view, the room was also spacious and we loved the open air bathroom concept ! The food at the restaurant was nice and the breakfast buffet was full and varied ( be mindful that you are on an island so the menu is well thought to minimize any waste). We felt safe and very well taking cared of. We would come back anytime, one of the best memories of our trip.

Great place with just enough rooms (maybe up to 10 guests max.) to still feel comfortable, relaxed and at home. Two nice beach areas, tour possibilties (snorkeling, plankton luminosa) and a great kitchen with fresh seafood (also vegetarian options) Running cold water and normal toilet (no buckets, salt or rain water like in isla roots or ecohotels)
