Oscar (Coca), Ana, and Fran were amazing. They took care of all our needs and filled us with joy and laughter. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Ana, thank you for your salsa for huevos rancheros. It was unforgettable. Fran, your tortillas were among the best I've had. Coca, thank you for creating a wonderful atmosphere for us and all other visitors, whether they stayed at the hotel or dropped in to share their stories, information, and advice. Heliconia is a very welcoming place.

The facility is so great, lovely garden and a nice pool area. We got great support from the reception to book tours. The staff are very friendly and professional. The food is excellent, the chef is very professional. The whole facility was very clean. The manager and his family are very welcoming. We highly recommend this place.

Robert did everything to make our 2day stay incredible. The refriturator was fallen with goods and he provided us with fruits from his garden. Excellent! The boat tour early in the morning he organized was the best of our 4 week vacation.

The envoirment is great. There are a lot of birds in the backyard. The owner of the house (70+ years old) took me for a walk on his land and showed me some nighthawks and we tried to spot some sloths (which we did not find). The owners are nice and try to make everything as comfortable as possible.

My stay here was spectacular. I really rate the eco lodge experience as they are small family owned local businesses that support other local businesses. Douglas and Jacob live and breathe the local lagoon and are absolute experts on the area. I saw a phenomenal amount of wildlife and the area is in pristine condition, well-cared for by the locals. This lagoon will astound you and the property backs straight onto the lagoon which is a great experience. I must say, the knowledge Jacob has is exceptional. I went on a river cruise safari, kayaking safari, horse riding and a night tour. Douglas was kind enough to lend me gumboots for the night tour because there was a lot of rain. We saw a Fer De Lance on the night tour and I loved it. A lot of other animals too. The kayaking was fantastic way to see the lagoon! The restaurant next door will provide your meals except for breakfast which is at the property. They were kind enough to provide coffee before our early starts.
