A small and cozy boutique hotel. The room as well the bathroom are nice, clean and specious. The location is perfect and in walking distance from a variety of good international and local restaurants and nightlife of Manuel Antonio. The Manuel Antonio National Park is within 10 minutes driving from the hotel. The staff is very helpfull and nice to the guests. There is a bar and pool for relaxation. The breakfast is delicious. Staff are very respectful and service oriented. They helped us out with a flat tire when Budget car rental company couldn’t provide customer service. and Jairo thank you for your help with the car. Juan thank you for your help with booking our stay in Sierpe for our Corcovado trip. Loved the views and Clarence is the best tour guide. I was fortunate enough to go on the property tour but couldn’t make the Manuel Antonio tour due to our car issues. If I come back I would definitely do the tour with him. The macaw conservation is really great.

So, 16 years ago, we had a very different experience at the park. The interactions with the wildlife was quite exciting (and so different from anything we experienced before). Now, they very tightly regulate the food situation in the park, which I 100% understand and respect. But in so doing, the wildlife really couldn't care less about interacting with the tourists. You cannot bring food in (they will go through every nook and cranny of your back packs/bags). You have to buy food and consume it in a caged area. Think about that for a sec: now the humans are in the cage consuming the food and the wildlife is outside watching us. The irony! Anyway, the abundance of wildlife was significantly diminished on our day there. We decided to spend a day at the public beach instead of going back to ManAntonio because you can rent a cabana and a lounge for cheaper than entry to the park. Plus, they have vendors there that sell you food/drinks/trinkets, etc. The beach faces the pacific and so the waves are a bit more fun. It's a nice sandy beach that wasn't that crowded last week.

Once again, an expensive tour.

Once again, an expensive tour. Didn't see many animals, or if we did, they were blobs in the trees. Lovely beach, but we only had half an hour there. The park has well-run facilities, and the rules are respectful of the animals. Great guide. Would I say it is a "must" and you are missing out if you don't go? No.

A great place to stay for a few days and discover the Pura Vida here is amazing everyone is so lovely and friendly, whether you just want peace and quiet or some adventurous days out this is your place. We don't like cities and this place was perfect with a bit of everything local souvenirs, friendly bars and beautiful beaches.

We just loved this park.

We just loved this park. In a little more than a ½ day we walked all the trails except the closed one. We stopped for an hour in the café -- which is enclosed in a cage to prevent the animals from coming in! That was the first time I had a drink in a cage. The trails are great and we saw lots of wildlife on our own, including a toucan and a sloth (only saw it on our way out!). The beaches are beautiful too. The only issue is parking. I can't tell what's official and what isn't, and at the hotel they warn you your car can be damaged if you just try to park wherever rather than in their lots. We parked somewhere and paid (talked him down) but I'm not sure it was official. No issues with our car though. Highly recommend this park!

The Nature Reserve was amazing.

The Nature Reserve was amazing. I expected to explore for 2-3 hours and go to the beach. I didn't realize that the entry fee includes several beautiful beaches to choose from with white sand and the water is perfect! I joined a guided tour with Ricardo for $20 and it was awesome! A truly great day that lasted more like 9 hours after taking the hike to the waterfall. My only regret is not planning enough time to explore here. Souvenirs are pricey here, as in most places. If you find camisettas for $10-15 at the shuttle stops along the way, buy them. I got a delicious smoothie at the restaurant inside the Reserve. My tour partner got a sandwich that was huge.

Few hours are enough. after a week in Costa Rica we knew how to spot the wildlife. the attitude of those who tries to sell private tour was very annoying so we chose not to take them. We saw loads of crabs, monkeys, sloth, Iguanas. Buy tickets in advance online !!!

The part of this hotel that was on the beach side of the road has a good location next to Mauel Antonio beach. The restaurant and pool were next to the beach in gardens. Staff laid out chairs or loungers on the sand under the palm trees and were very helpful. We stayed in the new bedrooms on the hill the otherside of the road (lots of steps up - no porters around). They had a nice view of the tree tops out to sea. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was okay.

Small studio apartment but with spacious balcony, hammocks and an amazing view of the coast and sunsets, plus garden below with birds and other wildlife. Easy 5 minute walk down to great beach, or up the hill to the nearby restaurant. Also lovely to have access to swimming pool after day on the beach or day in Manuel Antonio National Park (25 min walk away or 5 min drive)

Perfect location. right next to the entry for Manuel Antonio National Park and minutes from the beach and main shops/restaurants on the beach. Easy to use the local bus up to the main town too. Be careful of the local white-faced monkeys who will raid your balcony early in the morning if you leave anything outside! Lots of friendly local iguana as well

It delivers what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. It's close to the beach and animals are directly surrounding us. The breakfast is really superb. It was the best breakfast we had in Costa Rica, and we've been to many places.
