EVERYTHING! I cannot speak highly enough of this place. We stayed for 2 nights in the premium king hut and wow... unreal! The hut itself was everything you could have wished, you didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. The view from any point of the resort will leave you speechless...This was alone worth the price. My spouse, who is celiac, notified Chris and his staff beforehand of the dietary restriction, they took the utmost care ensuring each of her meals were safe to eat. She couldn't have been in better hands! Visit this little gem before it blows up and is impossible to book! Kintiri was the perfect was to finish off our trip, we can't wait to come back!

We had a fantastic time at this place. The place is tucked away from the main road in a very peaceful setting. The hosts built a little paradise hidden away. But most and foremost the hosts are amazing, they are some of the warmest and nicest people we have ever met and the hospitality was amazing. Thank you JM and MC for such a fantastic experience! :)))

Our stay at Azul is easily in the top 5 best ever. Having travelled from San Jose through to Hojancha, to arrive in a town where there is no bars on anything and the area is so safe that people leave their front doors open, it was amazing. The hosts have clearly lived in Azul for a bit as everything is so thought through and conveniently arranged that it makes spending time there very comfortable and easy. It has all the utensils and items you need, with all the little extras like olive oil and teas provided that saves you rushing out to the shops. The place is very clean and well looked after, the bed was luxurious and the shower was perfect. The kitchen has plenty of appliances. The view from the porch is spectacular, one you could never tire of seeing, and the options to sit in reclining chairs or at the table for breakfast are all that you need. The hosts are so helpful and supporting. Our air-con remote ran out of batteries whilst we were there, so immediately the host sent somebody to provide us with fresh batteries. Every question we had was answered and helpful, and they even took us out to an incredible viewpoint that is an absolute must if you visit the area. I cannot offer enough praise for azul and it’s hosts, it has been a highlight of our time in Costa Rica and if we come back then we will be staying at Azul again.

Rancho Humo is amazing. The staff was fantastic, especially Kenneth, our host and guide. The food was delicious and abundant - great chef! The wildlife was wonderful and Kenneth's knowledge about it was so helpful. We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We will come back and highly recommend Rancho Humo. It is such a peaceful place.

Samara, Christ the Redeemer. The food in Rio Grande is excellent; in fact, the members of the Legislative Assembly had breakfast there today during their work session in Nicoya. Getting around Nicoya is extremely easy. There are all kinds of activities for all tastes and ages.

Yanira's Soda is a good place with excellent value for money...

Yanira's Soda is a good place with excellent value for money, and the service was very good. The place is hot and humid, but the atmosphere is peaceful, and there's a variety of restaurants. The streets are quite busy with parked cars on both sides, but it's not a big problem.

What we enjoyed most was visiting the colonial church; what...

What we enjoyed most was visiting the colonial church; what we disliked most was not finding a place to eat local cuisine in downtown Nicoya. At the Tortillería, they closed the business on us while we were eating, and when we ordered an extra soda, they demanded payment. I wouldn't go back to that place to eat.
