Everything was clean, and all the staff was so nice. Tasty huge breakfast on the covered patio at the back of the property with views of a bird feeder. We saw even the toucans! The owner has a telescope to let the guests view the birds. It felt special to have Leo lead the night tour of their garden to look for frogs, for every guestroom separately (we stayed 3 nights). The beds are huge and comfortable. There are 3 AC units in the huge main room which has 2 sections for 2 of the king beds, and the cold air overflows into the 3rd bedroom too. Beautiful heated pool with sunbeds. It is only a couple of minutes to drive/taxi into La Fortuna town for many restaurants and services, and some of the attractions of the area are closeby (La Fortuna waterfall, El Salto, some of the tours / farms - we visited Finca Educativa Don Juan behind the property and liked it a lot). We could have had laundry done too. Communication excellent. We wish them all the best!

Perhaps the best value for money hotel I’ve stayed in. Very good location, great breakfast with fresh fruits and delicious juice, accommodating staff, coffee and tea available at any time, and the best of all, free access to thermal baths that are absolutely fantastic. Beautiful location, very near to the volcano so we had amazing view. A bit out of busy La Fortuna but still there were shops and restaurants, it was more quiet and I love that. The garden was very pretty and full of birds, though I liked more wild gardens than so well organized ;). The room and bathroom were huge and very comfy. Strong wifi. Very friendly staff. Nice jaccuzzi :).

This hotel sits on a large property, we stayed in a room with a small thermal pool in a garden visited by plenty of birds. The location is very quiet, the room is large, the personnel helps a lot on any issue. We were able to do a small laundry, still very expensive but also very helpful. From all the places we've been in Costa Rica this hotel had the best breakfast, with very good quality products. One can see also plenty of birds around the breakfast zone, the pool and the gardens. The hotel has a very nice thermal pool with multiple small pools accessible over night. It also has a normal pool. We really enjoyed it.
