What to say? We had an amazing stay at Ventura! The stuff is oustanding. They are all sooo helpful, friendly and even humorous - and they really take care. We got an upgrade, so our room was just amazing. It‘s the first hotel that simply has enough hanging hooks - in general everything was made smart and it‘s very clean. Around the hotel there are lots of shops, restaurant, cafes ans most important: beaches. We can definitely recommend it! Thanks for an amazing stay.

We loved our stay at Lua Villas. The unit was spacious and well appointed, the ac units in the down stairs bedroom and in the upstairs loft kept the unit well cooled. The pool and yoga pavillion are excellent. The location a mere 5 mins walk down the muddy jungle path to the beach and you are at beautiful Playa Hermosa where you will enjoy great surf and sunsets. Just leave your white sneakers at home!

Perfect stay. Spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds and good shower. The swimming pool area was so lovely and calm. The bird- and monkeysounds make it even better. Staff is very nice and everything is well aranged. Breakfast is yummy (you get to choose from a menu). The location is perfect (quiet yet central) and the on-site yoga lessons are a plus.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The service was exceptional, staff were friendly and always eager to assist with anything needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide selection of fresh, delicious options to start the day. As for comfort, the room was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, with a cozy bed that ensure a restful night’s sleep. Absolutely everything was beyond what I expected. The rooms were designed for pure rest — quiet, dark, with heavenly beds and linens. They even had a projector for watching movies and a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel is very close to the beach, right where Banana Beach is — my favorite spot to watch the sunset. The staff helped me rent an ATV for our entire stay, so we got to explore nearby beaches. My girlfriend took the surf lessons they recommended and says she’s got a new hobby now. We also got the breakfast and dinner package, and it exceeded our expectations — the quality was that of a high-end restaurant. Dreamcatcher, we’ll definitely see each other again.

Our experience at the Bluma Hotel was nothing short of royal! The entire staff provided excellent and courteous service, making my wife and I feel like royalty. The beauty of the hotel is particularly impressive - from the unique bohemian design to the stunning views of the forest and sea. We had a fantastic time at the beach this weekend!

We had a fantastic time at the beach this weekend! It’s perfect for surfing with super cool waves. However, be cautious if you’re traveling with kids. The beach wasn’t too crowded, and there are several restaurants right in front, so you don’t need to leave the beach for food and drinks. I really enjoyed that convenience!

Americanized beach town. Crowded waters to surf. Really bad infrastructure, roads are bad, no sidewalks and caos in traffic. The beach itself is very beautiful and the waves are nice. Just the vibe is either you love it or you hate it.

Santa Teresa for us was a completely disastrous in terms of development. I cannot even imagine anyone wanting to live there. The scenery once you get beyond the mishmash of stores 3 centimeters from the really poor roads is wonderful. It is a surfer place and nothing more. I would not ever go back for any reason

Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach.

Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach. There are so many places to eat that have great food. Santa Teresa does not feel as crowded as some other beaches in Costa Rica, and I honestly feel very safe there. I would highly recommmend this place.

The property is amazing.

The property is amazing. The pool is super cute, the rooms are spacious and modern. BUT the Beach Club/Restaurant charged us for things we didn’t order. We will always pay for everything we eat and drink but when things are added on our bills that we didn’t consume, we regretfully are super bitter. The hotel is looking into it and said they will get back to us. They have t yet. Also, they advocate that they are an adult only hotel but there were kids at the restaurant and at pool.

Great location right in the centre of Santa Teresa, a few minutes walk to the beach and directly opposite a supermarket. There are shops, restaurants and surf schools everywhere. It's on a busy, dirt, main road but far back enough and surrounded by foliage to not be bothered by the noise. The garden was tranquil and we spotted some wildlife. The breakfast was good (fruit, bread, cake, jam, tea, coffee or water).

Liked the look of the modern villa with bedrooms, living area and kitchen. The pool was big and had a nice lounge area surrounding it. It is in an area of Santa Teresa with a number of good restaurants within walking distance. The beach is across the road and a short walk away. Clara, our contact, was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Lua Villas in Costa Rica is really great. The place is full of amazing plants and has a nice pool. The beach nearby is not crowded at all and it's perfect for surfing. You can easily hop in a car and be in Santa Teresa in just a few minutes. It's like a mix of nature, chill vibes, and being close to a cool beach town.

Little tropical oasis in the heart of Santa Teresa. Súper peaceful and clean, only a few meters away from the beach! The staff was very kind and we also loved the included breakfast. We would definitely return!
