This place is a true paradise! You’re surrounded by lush jungle, with monkeys playing in the trees, yet you get to enjoy a beautifully designed cabin with all the comforts you need. Even the WiFi was excellent for working remotely. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, paying attention to every detail and sharing great tips to make our stay even better. Getting there involves an off-road path that can be a bit steep at times, but the hosts' clear instructions made it easy to find this hidden gem. We would absolutely recommend it!

Amazing place to stay! We had two nights and saw so much wildlife - sitting on our deck overlooking the pond we spent ages watching huge iguanas in the trees, loads of birds and even a Basilisk Lizard running across the water! The safari tents are really comfortable - fab beds, proper hot showers and plenty of space. I had a bit of a concern about the amount of creepy crawlies we might have in/around the tents but the mesh netting kept everything out (we saw plenty of insect life on the trails but nothing in or around the tents!). The big communal deck is also fab - the first night there was a huge storm and we sat having dinner while the thunder and lightning raged around us and bats flew round overhead - a really magical experience. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The pool and waterslide were a big hit with the kids too!

We had such a lovely stay at Camila’s beach house. Alex and her family are so welcoming and it was a pleasure staying in their house. The location is perfect - close to the beach, transport, and restaurants. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped to cook in and the room was super comfy. Beautiful family and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend!

A family-run hotel in the jungle with its own trails, a nice pool, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The rooms are located in separate cabins apart from each other. walking around was amazing !!! such a beautiful property! There’s a river nearby, about a 15-minute walk away, where you can swim. It’s a very atmospheric and enjoyable place. We loved it!

Good and large bed, silent and good A/C, everything very clean, nice breakfast, nice pool, close to nice restaurant and Matapalo beach, saw a lot of red macaws and other birds around the accomodation and even a sloth in the tree next to the accomodation (learned from the owner his name is Fred). Super friendly and flexible owners. Very nice stay.

Amazing location a minutes walk from a beautiful undeveloped beach in sleepy Matapalo. We had the most wonderful experience on arrival. Almost instantly we saw an Iguana on the roof of the neighbouring room. A capuchin monkey did too and chased the Iguana around the roof before the Iguana jumped off into a hedge! Going downstairs we then saw two slothes in the trees, before heading to the beach and seeing a troop of 50+ monkeys. Was our best nature experience in Costa Rica!! Lovely large room with good facilities too. Highly recommended

We had such a lovely stay at Camila’s beach house. Alex and her family are so welcoming and it was a pleasure staying in their house. The location is perfect - close to the beach, transport, and restaurants. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped to cook in and the room was super comfy.
