We loved our stay at the hotel! First of all, the design of the hotel is beautiful, not only the overall buildings, but also the details. Also, the service was very good, including the check-in process, the breakfast and the room service. We always felt very welcome thanks to the friendly staff. Lastly, the hotel is secure, with the front door being locked all day, and the beach and some restaurants can be reached by walking.

Excellent service here - good communication by what’s app beforehand and also help with booking tours (we did the whale watching). We were able to check into our rooms when we arrived at 1pm, even though check in was technically 3pm. Rooms are very comfortable with good aircon and nice balconies. Pool and jacuzzi facilities are wonderful. Very laid back place and great value.

Very spacious apartment with modern facilities and design. There's a small pool that I used practically everyday during my stay. Marino Ballena National Park is about 6 minutes away on foot. Along the way to the park, there are a couple of restaurants, as well as a mini supermarket for basic things. There were not a lot of tourists during my stay and I was practically the only guest in the complex, so it was a great respite from the hustle and bustle of travel.

One of the most unique hotels I’ve ever had the luxury of visiting. The jungle is magical. The facilities are second to none, but it’s really the staff that makes it special. Marco, for example, gave a great port tonging/wine opening show, then etched the bottle for us to have a souvenir. The rest of the staff was equally as accommodating.

This is an excellent place! We stayed here on our way to Corcovado National Park and Iiked it so much that we actually returned on our way back. The rooms are modern, very comfortable and very clean, there was a pool and the staff are excellent. It is only 15 minutes driving to Marino Balleno National Park with its fantastic beaches and forest. There are many good restaurants in this town as well and a café in walking distance.

Preferably visit on the whale watching season, and reserve a tour days before so you not lose the chance of this lovely experience, I recommend Bahía Ballena Kayaks & Tours. Beach is beautiful and relaxing, check the tide hours son you can walk to Whale's tale in low tide, and also have like 200 meters of beach to enjoy

Uvita is a great spot for families, not as crowded as Dominical, with plenty of good places to eat. However, some restaurants can be pricey and not worth it. The sea had strong currents, making it dangerous, but there was still plenty of space on the beach

My stay in Uvita was wonderful because it was October and very quiet. I was lucky to have no rain most days and explored all around the area. I loved playa Hermosa and Bahia Ballena. Both places you can walk see endless beach that's almost all to yourself during the fall.

I went to Uvita in Sep because I wanted to see the whale.

I went to Uvita in Sep because I wanted to see the whale. While some other boats did, we didn't get that close to the whale, so the experience was not ideal for me. However, it is an excellent place for surfing, and the tide is perfect.

Uvita was a great surprise.

Uvita was a great surprise. It has a very good vibe and the best waterfalls for us (we love jumping into pools) - El-Pavon and Uvita waterfalls are pearls (and they're almost free which is rare in CR)

Whale watching was amazing, however it feels a little...

Whale watching was amazing, however it feels a little intrusive. We were assured that the boats are only allowed to go out certain times in the day and not at all at certain times of the year. Considering how well Costa Ricans look after nature, I did believe this to be truth.

Everything - the location in the breathtaking rainforest and mountains overseeing Uvita, the beautifully and carefully kept casitas, the amazing breakfast, the great facilities and the pool, and mostly Keith and Joe (and little Louis), who run the boutique hotel, are fantastic hosts, who made us feel like home. You'll sleep surrounded by the forest, which a surreal experience but with a sense of luxury as well. The casitas and the hotel are environmentally conscious, which is the cherry on top.

We ended our 2-week trip there and we could not have expected a better ending. Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The view of the jungle and the ocean were truly amazing. Very interesting and delicious vegan dishes, great electronic lounge music and overall private and relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly staff (including the owner). The hot tub and pool area was as well incredible with comfortable sunbeds. We would love to come back!

Location for me. Uvita is a very spread out town, this hotel was halfway to the beach and halfway to the centre of town and bus stop. Good value, for green season. To have an apartment with everything plus breakfast, I stayed an extra night. 2 Ac's unit, 2 TVs ( these I could not work out) plenty of space for one person. Good breakfast. Very secure property. Pool was good too.

A cute hotel about 300m walk to the gorgeous Uvita beach! We stayed in one of the small houses, and it was small but plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 children. Comfy beds, friendly staff. It was nice that they cleaned and replaced the towels every day. The bar/restaurant had good food and amazing cocktails.
