Probably the best hotel quality/price during our trip. Milanca, the owner, is kind and helpful. She makes everything super easy, even we arrived at 3am due to the ferry schedule. The room is very cosy, the bed is comfortable. Everything is super clean.

Everything was excellente. We love the place, Palmeira is a perfect location to rest, to understand how the locals live, and Tia is the best person we could met (Tia works in Yacht). She is awsome!

Excellent value for the money, I had a great stay. Fabio was a very responsive, kind and helpful host. Check in and out went smoothly. The apartment was cozy, airy, well furnished and clean, in a new/renovated building. Internet worked well and it was quiet, so I could work from there without issues. Convenient location right by a public transport stop and with a small supermarket across the street. There was literally everything I could possibly need.

The place really felt like a home for us: there was really clean, breakfasts were amazing, and the staff was really warm and kind. The property was fantastic, had ac , fan , laundry and a lovely balcony, it even had an enormous tv. The host was an amazing person and I always been looked after, it even felt like he was a family member. It was well located , with a couple of restaurants , shops nearby and a taxi rank. Definitely recommend it and I always look forward to book in the same apartment for sure.

This is a small working port town with a traditional small...

This is a small working port town with a traditional small scale fishing industry. It is gradually coming up into the modern world as a result of tourism. The harbour is used by yachts, tall ships and daytrip boats. There is a town beach but it is not commercialised in any way and is not cleaned for leisure purposes. The people are friendly and we did not feel threatened in any way. Restaurants, hotels and some shops will accept Euros and there is an ATM in the town. We liked Palmeira for a short visit before and after a sailing holiday. A taxi to the airport costs 800 cve or 8 Euro.
