At the time of year when I was there (January), taverns and restaurants in and around the village are open only until the afternoon on Sundays, they are mostly closed on Mondays, and most of them are closed during the off-season. Ask around and plan where and how to eat. The location is good for visiting Cyprus and its sights, the beaches are 5-10 kilometers away.
