This is THE best place I ever stayed in Czech Republic. The family who run it are super helpful - we had to make an early start and so had two fully stocked breakfast bags. The countryside is divine and Sumava is a short drive away. For horse lovers (which we are not!) this would be heaven..

I like staying in an old historical place like this. The renovations of the 17th century castle where the rooms are, were done with excellence... loved those wooden floors. Very peaceful surroundings. Great breakfast!

Beautiful, peaceful setting with the backdrop of the forest and mountain and view of the rolling valleys and farmland. Brand new accommodations, glamping style but really nice finishings and touches. We really enjoyed our time.

Overall, the area is perfect for trips and walks.

Overall, the area is perfect for trips and walks. We were only there for a short time, for one night, so there was no time to explore Planica in more detail. But we were impressed with the accommodation, so we plan to visit it again in the future for more days, so that we can enjoy the surroundings more.

In Plánice we walked along the street where the Křižík...

In Plánice we walked along the street where the Křižík Museum-his birthplace is. We liked that...the village is also a classic village-on a hill, along the main road. We traveled more around the area and it is really very nice and worth a visit. (Bolfánek Lookout Tower, Švihov Castle, Klenová Castle and Gallery...)

We stayed there over Easter.

We stayed there over Easter. The room was spacious and had all the amenities described. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The restaurant is highly recommended, and the staff is very friendly. The location is a bit out of the way, but there are shops nearby. From there, you can easily reach the cities of Pilsen, České Budějovice, Klatovy, and Prague. All in all, a wonderful weekend.

Excellent location for exploring the local region in a...

Excellent location for exploring the local region in a strategic position between Nepomuk and Klatovy. In the middle of nature with access to a larger city, where you can shop even on holidays. There are many interesting tourist places in the area. Bus connections are quite decent, for greater time comfort on trips to more distant places a car is ideal.
