Everything was literally perfect. It Felt like all the furnishings, all the facilities and all the service had been organised with the Comfort and enjoyment of the customers in mind - from the windscreen scrapers in the Lobby to help clean the car from the fallen Snow to the device / book holder by the Side of the bed to the reward System for not requiring housekeeping every day when not strictly necessary and of course the incredibly efficient , professional and friendly members of staff. We absolutely loved it !!! Thank you, Sennerhuette Landhotel! We will certainly be back! :-)

An absolutely amazing place to stay! The hotel is surrounded by stunning nature — only about 20 minutes from the Bastei National Park and around 40 minutes from Dresden. The view from the property is simply breathtaking and makes you want to stay forever. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after exploring the area. The whole atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, ideal for anyone looking to recharge and enjoy some quiet time in nature. The hotel restaurant is fantastic! The food is fresh, delicious, and prepared with great attention to detail. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and make you feel truly cared for from the moment you arrive. I can’t recommend this place highly enough — it’s a hidden gem where you instantly feel at home and leave with a smile.

Everything was wonderful: the view from the window, breakfast, the food in the restaurant, the proximity to the river and the mountains. The bed was separated from the rest of the room and far from the bathroom, that is very nice. My husband had his birthday during the stay and the hotel congratulated him with a nice gift. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great hotel is very cozy, just at the start of all tracking routes. The room is spacey, the beds are really comfortable. The swimming pool is quite big and clean. The staff is very friendly, we have arrived later than expected and were late for dinner, so they have saved the dinner for us and serve it in the room! The food is great both for breakfast and for dinner.

Uncomplicated and simply relaxing. Quietly situated in a green setting. The locals were also remarkably friendly and open. Easily accessible destination for a day trip. Overall, a highly recommended place.

A beautiful spot in Saxon Switzerland, ideal for hiking, and thanks to the good bus connection (to Bad Schandau train station), you can quickly reach Pirna or Dresden even without a car. You can get around here even without a car.

Good accommodations and a good restaurant in Altendorf, Gasthaus Heiterer Blick. Altendorf is at the end of the third stage of the Malerweg, the most beautiful hiking trail we walked in Germany, and has good bus connections.

A charming little village with many warm and welcoming...

A charming little village with many warm and welcoming inhabitants. On one corner, my son was treated to a story by a friendly gentleman, who also gave him an apple. On the next corner, there's a converted airplane used as a holiday apartment. Very fascinating. A short walk takes you directly to the forest, where you have a fantastic view. We'd love to come back.
