I liked that in Berlin, even though it's a big city, the people were friendly, and you can easily enjoy the city without having to speak German. It was very international and one could meet people from all around the world. Even on Sundays, the city had open bakeries and coffee shops, which was great. I would recommend using Bolt taxi since it was very punctual and not so expensive for a big city like Berlin. And use Google Maps since it was very accurate.

“Berlin is an exceptional lesson in contemporary architecture, a vibrant, active city that offers something for every category of tourist. Spacious and airy, with stunning public spaces and human-scale buildings, it is filled at every step with museums and art galleries. Public transport is excellent—a dense network that operates around the clock. Easy access to the airport. A city to see and revisit at every opportunity!”

Berlin is a wonderfully vibrant city. You can truly see every kind of person, outfit, and style here — a fantastic mix of diversity and energy. The restaurants are great, the public transport is well organized, and the parks, canals, and beautiful buildings all add to the charm. It’s definitely a place worth spending time in.

Berlin is filled with history so there is something for everyone. Knowing how the U-bahn works can help you save transportation cost. I like going to checkpoint charlie, because I personally know the American Soldier on the sign there.

I first visited Berlin in 1985. Both sides of the wall.

I first visited Berlin in 1985. Both sides of the wall. So it is always a nostalgic trip. It’s a city that is full of history and has an amazing energy. You can literally feel that history of pride, shame, division, restoration and rebuilding. And some nostalgia for the Cold War! and DDR! Unter den Linden a street of historical romantic Sunday or evening walks and contrasting military marches. There are so many amazing places to eat in the city . This visit, we took breakfast in the revolving TV tower. Worth every euro if the weather is clear. The viewing deck below was really crowded so paying the extra for breakfast and a window seat moving to take the view is the way to do it. Generally we felt safe walking around the often empty streets of the city.

Hostel is really clean, all the rules are pretty straightforward, co-hosts were nice. It was really calm considering I was in a room with 10 other random people :) Location is close to city centre, with Berlin public transport you can get anywhere fast (subway station is right in front of the hotel). Befor checkin I was in touch with hostel via this app, they allways replyied fast, so the communication was pretty smooth. You 100% get what you're paying for, would book there again!

The spacious double room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was very good for a 4 star hotel at a good location. It was easy to get to the tram and train stations, breakfast and cafe, restaurants, city centre and the main sightseeing locations. The staff at the hotel were helpful and efficient when it comes to responding to our enquiries and requests. We would definitely return to this hotel and would love to visit Berlin again soon. Highly recommend people for this hotel!

Perfect for short stays. Very near to the subway station and the bus stop. One of the very few hotels in Germany with air conditioning. A good, clean, comfortable under 100€ hotel. Which is pretty much the standard price for a decent hotel in Berlin. The hotel staff was really kind and welcomed us warmly even though we checked in in the middle of the night.
