Very clean, good spot, half an hour from Hamburg. Rooms and bathroom were spacious. Host was very nice. Price was a bit high for us but service and rooms were perfect!

    We have travelled to Buccholz in der Nordheide a number of times. It is close to shops, hiking and other attractions. This time we also went for the little Christmas market. It snowed for the entire week which made it lovely! For children, there is an open air museum and a wildlife park locally which are both worth visiting. A car is the easiest way to travel in the area but there is a train station for further afield

    The room was lovely and the surroundings well kept and pleasant. Available parking at the rear of the hotel was very convenient for the rooms. Delicious food, lots of choice at breakfast. Particularly liked all the antiques and curios that the owner had collected.
