Exceeded expectations, especially at the price. Great location. About 15 mins walk from train station and right near centre. Had to telephone host on arrival for instructions. Was nervous about this as not good on the phone and q speak much German, but host kindly spoke clearly in English. Was easy, so there was no need to be nervous about the telephone. I'm a single traveller, so I booked a single room. Was impressed by size and layout and was very clean. The room was on the top floor, so glad to see a nice bottle of water waiting after taking my suitcase upstairs. But it was worth it. I loved the attic ceiling and hearing the birds swoop by the window. The view was outstanding and I really felt part of the history. Plenty electrical sockets. Strong hot shower. Comfortable bed. There is also a communal balcony area for guests to relax. Breakfast is served from 8-1030 and was included in the price. A fantastic continental breakfast with hot eggs if you fancy. Plenty to choose from, fresh and well presented. I loved my trip to Quedlinburg and would recommend this hotel. Great service at a fantastic price. Now, 350 miles to Sylt! Quedlinburg was well out my way on this tour but worth the effort. Magic!

The hotel has an excellent location right in the center of the historic town, with everything within easy reach. Although the breakfast was served, it was very rich and tasty. I really appreciated the authentic atmosphere of the old building, which gave the stay a unique charm. Overall, a very pleasant accommodation with character.

I had no idea how divine the town and this hotel would be. The hotel was located in an historic part of town, exuded tradition and history, was warm and inviting in entry with a lovely lounge and fireplace. The rooms were nice, a touch traditional, and the bathrooms modern and functional. Heating was good but you could also open the windows which I love. There was a great heating rack which we all want. The restaurant was fantastic and breakfast was served in a lovely room with all the touches you’d expect and more. All the staff were wonderful.decor was great too. Parking was free.

Location couldn't be better when the old town of Quedlinburg is the place to visit. This castle hotel is one of the nicest hotels we've visited and we've been in many places. Friendly stuff, own nice surrounding park, tower right in front of the hotel to check the town from higher and the roof terrace in the hotel to enjoy the evening view to town with a glass of wine. Perfect!
