There is so much that I might run out of space. The owner has an incredible eye for detail. Everything exudes harmony and is tailored to the guests needs. The food is amazing. We ate at the restaurant twice. Incredible! The rooms are decorated country style. Lot s of natural wood around. The bathroom is just the right size and well thought through. Complimentary water is served in as still, medium, or fully carbonated. I totally recommend this place. Owners and staff are very friendly. We’ll be back :)

the staff were AMAZING. so accommodating. We initially booked a non-AC room because we didn’t know the hotel had AC available. We were sweltering. So we asked for any fan or anything and they actually upgraded us at minimal cost and we moved to an AC room. The staff stayed after their shift to assist us with this. Really above and beyond. They were friendly too

The hotel has a great location in Saxon Switserland. It is very easy to have a nice trip to some great views (the bridge!). Also the pool is nice for a bit of cooling down on a hot day. Personnel is friendly, we even got a drink upon arrival!

    About a car ride from Bad Schandau to Dorf Wehlen - I highly recommend to go along the river Elbe - cross the bridge in Schandau, then take Königstein, again the bridge to the other bank of Elbe in Pirna and back to Dorf Wehlen, check the last part of the local road from Bad Schandau to Höhnstein is currently closed (August 2023).
