Great family Hotel. First of all, I felt welcome. I had a problem and the personell helped me with a kind smile. Arrival: free parking at the hotel, no stress. Breakfast: served at the table plus buffet, I asked for a fried egg and had it made for me, for sure not standard for the category. And then attention for details, for example the fridge available for the guests, the big amoung of electric plugs in the room, the ear plugs in the room (I found it quiet and did not need them, nevertheless, they are there).

I've stayed in this hotel for 1 night and like every bit of it. It was conveniently located and had enough (free) parking spaces, rooms are spotlessly clean and the hosts were the best you can wish for: super friendly and warmhearted people who run this place perfectly. You'll feel at home immediately and it's truly a home away from home. Also the breakfast was good and the food in the restaurant is delicious! I'll definitely visit here again when i'm in Sauerland and absolutely recommend this place.

Buffet breakfast is right next door at Extrablatt [https://cafe-extrablatt.de] and it is a main reason that we keep on comming here from Frankfurt. The lake view rooms are set high so you can see out but ~they~ cant see in. We are right next to the station so you E-bike up the lake and get the train back. Dinner at the Brauhaus [https://www.biggeseefront-dasbrauhaus.com]

It’s my 3rd stay at this hotel and I can honestly say next year I will be enjoying my 4th visit. I just love the friendliness of the staff, excellent breakfasts and the lovely pool and wellness area. Of course the view from your he top is magnificent overlooking the valley.

It felt so homely! We all loved it so much and felt so at home as soon as we walked in. Everything was so clean (even for my germaphobe mom) and every little thing we could have possibly needed was there for us to use. The neighbourhood is so beautiful too. Will definitely be booking again!

    My stay in the area was our of necessity, but as I had to stay a night a had a brief look around the area. There is plenty of beautiful hiking to be done and Drolshagen is very close to the Biggesee which is also beautiful. The town has a nice small city centre with an excellent ice cream cafe that has a large "patio" seating area directly on the main town square.

    The place was perfect for a short stay after a long car journey. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and spacious room. Friendly hotel and restaurant staff. Great food (a la carte dinner and breakfast buffet). Very reasonable price.

    Very nice hotel with a wonderful staff. The dinner from the hotel restaurant was excellent and although my stay was to short to take advantage of it I am sure there is plenty of beautiful hiking in the area!

    Very clean hotel. The staff were very chatty and helpful. The restaurant dinner was absolutely delicious. Very worth having your dinner there. Breakfast was very nice also.
