This is a magnificent hotel — a real castle where you truly feel like royalty. I had made a reservation for our wedding anniversary, and they exceeded our expectations. The breakfast is also excellent, and the surrounding area feels like being in the heart of a forest. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a romantic escape, and I hope to come back again.

If you like modern architecture, go to this hotel, it is mostly authentic and has a '70'-'80's feel to it. Think orange carpets and lots of glass windows, steel frames and lounge area's, great for kids too. The property is set on a hill, creating lots of views and corners to enjoy a game or a drink. The surroundings are great for cycling and hiking. The hotel has a very friendly and welcoming athmosphere. The choice in buffet-served foods is great, for lunch, dinner and breakfast. The staff is so welcoming, there is a very pleasant and homely feel to the whole hotel experience.

I stayed for a stopover on a drive crossing Germany, so the location was the main reason for booking there. Also a reasonable distance from the autobahn. One or two nice shops and a great Konditorei coffee shop a100 metres away

Idyllic location in the Taunus mountains, many nearby excursion destinations, excellent shopping facilities, quick access to the motorway and direct proximity to Königstein i.Ts. with views of/within reach of Frankfurt, making it an ideal starting point.

It's very cold in Glashütten; there's a good chance of snow there in winter. It doesn't get too hot in summer either, as the Großer and Kleiner Feldberg mountains are nearby. There are a couple of shops in the village, but it's not very busy; it's a small place.

It's actually a business seminar hotel.

It's actually a business seminar hotel. We were there over the weekend and the hotel was quite underbooked. So we had peace and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for after our strenuous mountain bike tour.

Not your average hotel.

Not your average hotel. Thoughtful sayings on the walls, small but practical rooms. The scaffolding near the rooms at the back of the building was a bit of a nuisance, but hopefully it will be removed soon (as of October 19, 2022) once the renovations are finished.

The hotel is laid out and feels very much like walking around a college campus and has a unusual but nice feel to it. Seems to be used for corporate days quite often. The Pool, the bar and the restaurant areas were all great as were the drinks and food from them inc. a quality breakfast with a massive amount of choice. The room much like the hotel had some quirky features and furniture which we enjoyed, Staff were very professional. Plenty of parking in a quiet location not too far from the Motorways.

The hotel was a great surprise, I booked it last minute during a road trip in the area, based my choice on the reviews and I wasn't wrong to do that. The single room that I booked was facing the front of the hotel, while I noticed that the double room have a lovely view over the countryside. Spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Black out curtains, heating, everything perfect.

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. There ia parking and restaurant. The room was spacious and warm, there were ironing facilities in the room. The breakfast was decent, but a little bit too expensive in our opinion. There was tea and coffee available in the room.
