A quiet village off the main roads, very peaceful (except for cockerel on next farm! but not too close) Good cooking facilities and some local produce available. Fresh bread was great! Would like to return and spend more time there - this was a 2 night stop while driving across Germany

Great location ideal for anyone keen on cycling, horse riding or running, excellent pool and spa areas, although not an area where english is widely spoken the staff went out of their way to help, would highly recommend and will visit again

Nothing, nothing, nothing beats a romantic stay like a night in a medieval castle. We stayed for the missus birthday in Schloss Waldeck. We had clear skies, sunny weather. And an Absolutely stunning view. Great food and a stunning view. This hotel deserves it's "excellent" rating!

Very authentic place. Nothing fancy but everything was good. Room was big and clean, bathroom was fully fonctional, breakfast buffet was good, staff was nice. It looks like a family business and has an old-fashioned charm

    Just stopping off during the long drive.

    Just stopping off during the long drive. Harbshausen is off the main road so rural and quiet. Not much in the village itself, but shops in Voehl. Good for access to the National Park, but takes 30-40 minutes to get to the dam end of the lake. Check which activities you want to do.
