Great and charming hotel in a small town, with very nice and gentle staff and a wonderful restaurant. We arrived by bus from Miltenberg and the bus stop is in front of the hotel, on the main avenue. The hotel is close to the road that takes us to Engelberg - just behind it. Everything was very clean. The bathroom was completely renovated and elegant, while the bedroom was in a cosy old style. The owner was a gentleman and helped us a lot, even taking us to the train station when we left. The restaurant was of a high standard, unexpected for a small town, we had a delicious and excellent dinner. The breakfast room was typical and charming and the breakfast was delicious with German bread and cakes. I will probably return to Grossheubach in the future and stay in the same place.

Very welcoming, the staff and the reception/ maitre-d were superb. Room was clean spacious and comfortable, restaurant and bar excellent, very good breakfast. Friendly family run hotel in a pretty town , good for overnight or longer. Great value for money.

Good for hikers and people who are good on their feet.

Good for hikers and people who are good on their feet. The old town is pretty, but unfortunately, like everywhere else, there's a lot of decay and vacant buildings. It's not suitable for people with walkers or other mobility impairments, as there are many hills and cobblestones. The musical at Klingenburg Castle (information at Mainmusical) is highly recommended.

Klingenburg Castle, with all the hiking trails around it, is very beautiful. The town itself is quite underwhelming. The old town is nice, but there's neither a decent restaurant nor a bakery. The only place I found was a good ice cream parlor with friendly service, San Marco, unfortunately located on a busy street.

I knew Klingenberg from before; now, as an elderly woman traveling by train, I wanted to experience the changes and meet up with friends who are still alive. Without a car, it's difficult to find good restaurants, as my hotel restaurant has closed.

A very nice hotel outside the city, on the edge of a forest.

A very nice hotel outside the city, on the edge of a forest. Deer visited us in the morning. Friendly staff. You have to find your own table for breakfast, but the tables were labeled with names – a good idea. Large parking lot in front of the hotel. Great opportunities for cycling, hiking, and of course, wine tasting. The room and hotel were clean. I would gladly return.

I like everything in this hotel. I absolutely recommend everybody who visit Klingenberg to stay in this hotel. the owner was extremely kind and nice. I had a feeling that I was having a breakfast in my own house for the first time. the price is very good.

Extremely good position for my business needs. Room not big but very comfortable, neat and tidy. Big parking lot right in front of the hotel. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast not very rich but good enough.
