This is a very nice 3 star hotel in a historic building. The room was exceptionally clean - TOP! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great - the eggs were freshly prepared. Very friendly staff. The tram is nearby and can take you directly to the town center or to the other tourist attractions. There is also a small supermarket nearby.

Great breakfast (bio everything). Cleaned every day, so I can say it was very clean. The room was small, but it has everything you need. They even gave me a blowdryer when I asked for it (in exchange for 20 EUR pfand).

I arrived very late on 4th November, I was given excellent instruction earlier in the day, on how to enter the building and my room. The member of staff on reception on the morning of 5th November, immediately knew me, I don’t know how with so many rooms in the hotel, and he knew that I had arrived late and asked if everything was good and asked if I had got in ok. I was very impressed by this, what great caring service! He is a fantastic member of staff, thank you.

    Seeing the old places which I love and the house where my aunt and later,also my grandmother lived. Like to visit the hyper markets and the many parks and most of course,Burg Linn,the castle. Nice to walk beside the Rhein and to visit the Zoo.

    Authentic, German experience with little or no...

    Authentic, German experience with little or no tourists.Charming town, old architecture, pedestrian streets. Many friendly, non English -speaking people. Slow pace of life, many bicycles, retired people. Forest walks, (favourite place: Stadwald forest and lake with beergarden wth fabulous food) Also nice is Cosmopolitan garden irestaurant in Krefeld centre with a variety of dishes including Indian (Sri Lankan chef). Also lake swimming, Shopping also good. Dussledorf 30 mins by tram. You can walk around centre easily.

    Good apartment in the center. Nils and Franziska were very responsive and immediately reachable for any quiries, that is very unusual for Germany 😉 all stuff you need for your stay is there, no need to rush with shopping since you have spaghetti and even sauce for them, some other pleasant things 😊, tea and cofee, etc. i would definetely recommend this apartment. One important thing that you have to keep in mind that bathroom is available upstairs ( should be crusial for disabled people for example).

    Nothing, very dirty,bed was bad ,matrasses were bad and TV was just programmed in one language.Those mattresses needs changing and durst needs cleaning .The apartment was very very dirty. I have slept in several ones but Germany as a clean country I was surprised at this uncleanness.

    I stayed at this facility for 3 nights with family and friends. The whole experience was superb. From very cool stuff, clean rooms, comfy beds and fresh bedding. The tram is just opposite the hotel and the Hbf less than 10mins away (walking). I strongly recommend :)
