Self check in was easy. There were quite a few steps down to the breakfast room and up to our room from the front door. Breakfast was enjoyable. The lady in charge spoke enough English to be able to cope with our lack of German. There is a supermarket close by that you can walk to and buy an evening meal. A pleasant surprise was a microwave on the landing near our room.

The property is immaculate. The hosts have thought of everything. There is an honesty box to make donations for any of the coffee and provisions used, which makes life convenient if arriving after a long drive, as we did. We were visiting relatives but I would suggest this is an excellent base to explore the area and then have a spotlessly clean 'home' to return to.
