    Very nice wine area! Ideal for the wine lover!

    Very nice wine area! Ideal for the wine lover! You can taste red, white and rose wines (including sparkling and dessert wines) with a variety of qualities. we visited a few wine producers in the area and they offered a tasting free of charge without any obligation. We had a nice 5 course degustation menu with accompanying wines in Hotel Weis. It is also worthwhile trying the Flamkuche in the local restaurants. People in the area are generally very friendly.

    Mainly the wine mountains in the area is the attractions, and of course visit to various wineyards for wine tasting, and to taste some good solid German kitchen. Great place for longer walks in the Wineyards, and close to many of famous wine areas.

    The location makes this hotel. The view towards the vineyards and the little stream is great. The breakfast is continental and runs until 10:30am, which is great if you want to sleep in and the food was good.
