The staff was extremely friendly! I really like the Bavarian countryside (there are farms everywhere) and public transit makes it pretty easy to go to Munich, which is not far. I was mostly in Germany for a conference in nearby Garching, hence why I chose to stay outside Munich proper (I still went to Munich most days). I am glad I stayed here! The breakfast was delicious (nice breads, meats, cheeses, and much more (the staff offered to cook eggs to order for me too)) and the room was very nicely laid out and made me feel comfortable and happy.

Location is very convenient to the airport and an easy train ride to Munich (after walking to the station). Room was comfortable. Breakfast had many options, and the hotel restaurant is excellent. There is a nearby forested walking trail along a stream for exercise and quiet relaxation. parking is excellent; they just expanded the parking area. I would stay here for a next visit.

Large quiet room, comfortable bed, nice shower and cleaning products. Very nice restaurant serving a brilliant breakfast selection, and a nice selection at dinner time. Great parking facilities. The hotel is in an excellent location with the Alianz Arena only being 4 minutes away by local train (5 minute walk). Everywhere is spotless, and all the staff are super helpful.

The hotel complex itself is very cozy - old houses divided by greenery, adding to that is it being owned by horse polo family team, making it a special place. Our room was very good for a week stay: big table for work, nice beds, teapot, tray and THE QUEEN HERSELF: a full scale bath. Everything was very clean, lighting was very ambient.

There is not much to like about Neufahrn as a traveler.

There is not much to like about Neufahrn as a traveler. There is mostly middle-class housing with not much to see. There are very few shops and very few good German restaurants, mostly Pizzerias, Asian and Gyro places. If you find a restaurant, trying to find a parking space is almost impossible. The exception is the Hotel-Gasthof Maisberger near the train station. It has good German food and also free parking. The town Eching is close and provides a few more restaurant choices but the problem with parking is the same.

There is a wonderful bakery not far from the property. Also good grocery stores nearby. Everything was very convenient. Bus service was a few minutes away, train was also close. We used Uber, which was easy to access.

Well, after 11 pm there's nothing going on in Neufahrn.

Well, after 11 pm there's nothing going on in Neufahrn. No partying. Otherwise, it's a sleepy little Bavarian town with quite a few massage parlors and kebab shops. Connections to Munich are good, unfortunately only until 10:30 pm, after which it gets complicated.

The surroundings, the location, and the accommodation were good. One can't help but get the impression that they don't feel the need to make the accommodation more appealing. This starts with the beautiful garden overgrown with weeds, the messy-looking garage, and extends to the uninspired breakfast. A short break, yes, but I would think twice about staying there longer.

A pleasant little town where we spent a night on our hike to Munich. After World War II, the town experienced a significant influx of immigrants from the former German territories in the east, and therefore appears quite "new" in some areas.

Superbly comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was clean and warm (February). It was like a show home. Centrally located in Neufarhn, the S Bahnhof was a 15 minute walk. Neufarhn itself is a lovely town with the Hotel by the Bahnhof having a good restaurant and the Chinese restaurant on the same strasse is well worth a visit. Overall don’t look anywhere else to stay as you won’t find an equally exquisite apartment or location for visiting Munich.

My two friends and I needed a place to stay with a kitchen the night before our plane took off early in the morning. We had groceries left for one last dinner before leaving Germany so we choose this place. The place was perfect value for three of us. We also had nightcap at lovely beer garden, Garchinger Augustiner which was only 10 min drive. I would recommend both places!

Great hotel right on the train line only two stops from airport. Good bar/restaurant down stairs and good breakfast. Room was spacious, warm and well appointed. The best thing though was the staff. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommend if you’re needing to transit via Munich airport.
