Lovely hosts, beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast - and in one of the most charming villages in Germany. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and considerate of us (travelling for the first time with a small baby), for example by arranging the perfect dinner reservation. We had a wonderful time. It goes without saying that the Hästens beds are amazing - well worth the investment!

It was an absolutely amazing stay! We loved how warm and welcoming our hosts, Tanya and Ralph were - they were so kind and did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was sublime (and the portions were super generous!) and the hotel was located right in the middle of the center - it was thus extremely convenient to walk around and explore Volkach which was honestly like a fairytale village (especially during Christmas time).

A wonderful destination in the center of the vineyards in...

A wonderful destination in the center of the vineyards in Francy, great living with perfect comfort and amenities including a kitchen, peace and quiet. Bicycle storage in the garage, parking space. Wine shops and restaurants in and around the place. An ideal place for cycling and car trips. There is a complete range of supermarkets in the vicinity. And you constantly meet nice people who are happy to greet and talk to you.

A quiet little village situated directly on the Main River,...

A quiet little village situated directly on the Main River, featuring a small village shop, an extravagant furniture workshop, a comfortable campervan site near the riverbank, and a top-notch restaurant, the Gasthof zum Schiff. Reservations are highly recommended, as spaces are limited.

Nice, well-kept apartment, nice, helpful host couple and cozy village. It was a bit hot in the apartment but we cooled off in the river, the swimming area was close to the accommodation. Was lucky enough to catch this year's Weinfest which was super fun!

It's a charming village in a wine region.

It's a charming village in a wine region. There's not much to do in the village itself. There's a hotel with a terrace on the Main River. It's definitely worth stopping by for a drink or a meal on the terrace in good weather. You have a view of the town with a small ferry. There are several wineries here. For cyclists and hikers, it's definitely worth staying for a few days.

Obereisenheim, located a few kilometers north of the Main River loop, is very beautiful and idyllic. It's perfectly suited for both hikers and cyclists. The village's location alone deserves more than six stars.

Obereisenheim is located directly on the Main Cycle Path, surrounded by vineyards and cozy wine taverns. The new village shop, with its large terrace and delicious coffee and cakes, is also well worth a visit.
