Pleasant stay in a quiet and convenient location, easy to reach by car. The hotel restaurant served surprisingly good food, both for breakfast and dinner. A great bonus was the on-site EV charging station, which worked perfectly and made our road trip hassle-free. Clean room, helpful staff — would gladly return.

Everything was as it is on the pictures. We really liked the theme of the since it stands out from other Ibis hotels. If you've stayed in an Ibis hotel before you know what to expect. Rooms were really nice and clean, even though we haven't used the hotel's bar it's pretty cute looking and there's a pretty big balcony as well. The location is a bit further from the sights in the city, but there's an ubahn station almost right next to it, and it's connected to the Hauptbahnhof so it's super convenient. There's also a good mall with tons of food options right across the street.

The hotel staff was great and the breakfasts were delicious. They had an elevator!! The room size was just right for us. We had a place for our suitcases so they were out of the way but accessible. The rooms were quiet. Parking was available. Train station close enough for us to drive and parking was free. Train into Munich for Oktoberfest was about 20 minutes. The bed was harder than we are used to, but we found that with almost all the locations we stayed at on this trip. Either way we did sleep.

Description of this hotel is inaccurate in terms of location...

Description of this hotel is inaccurate in terms of location and amenities. It must state that hotel is located in an industrial area with limited transport to central Munich. Taxis to the centre are very expensive and the price varies a lot per taxi company. The hotel advertises a taxi company in its reception that is very expensive compared to Uber (twice as much!). The supervisor responds angrily when confronted with this information. In order to maintain the hotel's reputation, the management must not advertise taxi companies that take advantage of its guests. Business ethics of companies associated with the hotel matter, in this case was very much questionable. The supervisor and managers are also very rude and abrupt, lacking basic customer service.

A beautiful town near Munich.

A beautiful town near Munich. Bavarian style houses, friendly people. Only when we arrived late, around 9 pm, there was nowhere to eat, cafes close at 10 pm. Since we had to leave early the next day, we didn't get to walk around the town in daylight. Just passing by. It looks like a great place

We ate at Zinner restaurant in Taufkirchen. Excellent. The Kugelalm beer garden nearby is lovely, but expensive. Still worth a visit, though. We didn't go to Oberhaching. We were there for a concert and cycling.

A nice, quiet place with a very well-stocked bookstore, an ice cream parlor, a pharmacy, and various shops. There's a small wooded area nearby. Overall, a pleasant atmosphere if you like peace and quiet. The S-Bahn (suburban train) is very close by, making Munich easily accessible. It's also suitable for people with limited mobility. However, there are stairs leading to some shops and the hotel.

Basic hotel, geared towards athletes.

Basic hotel, geared towards athletes. During our stay, there was a summer camp for young children (up to about 14 years old). It was pleasantly busy but quieted down early in the evening. The station was close, but there wasn't much to do in the town itself. We went to Munich for a few days.
