Friendly staff, nice room, great food in restaurant. We stayed only one night on our way to Denmark. It was a lovely pitstop, and if we ever come back we might book multiple nights. The room was modernized. Comfortable beds. The bathroom was dated, but very clean.

Traditional German village hotel with bar and pub food. Plenty of off street parking. Lovely large room in the annex to the back of the main historic building. Warm welcome from the host who was running the bar and sorting food orders as well as handling the hotel bookings. All managed with a friendly greeting. Lots of German guests using the hotel and locals eating in the bar which is a always a good sign. A great traditional hotel with food and drink.

Flensburg is a beautiful and charming town, and Central Hotel is perfectly located – very close to the main bus station and right at the beginning of the main street. There are plenty of transportation options nearby, from buses to e-scooters. The room was excellent, clean, and well-equipped, and it seems the hotel is developing and upgrading. Everything worked perfectly, and the overall condition was new and fresh. The highlight for me was the strong shower stream – exactly what I needed after a 4-hour train journey. The provided amenities (toothbrush, shaving kit, and grooming set) were also very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful, not crowded, with two buffet lines so you could always get more without waiting. Cleanliness was outstanding, both in the room and the dining area. I also appreciated the option to leave my luggage after checkout and enjoy exploring the town freely. Overall, a great experience – thank you for the amazing hospitality!

A nice and fine place to have a good sleep and breakfast during your trips on the road where even your dog is very welcome! The staff is top, the bed is simply one of the best we ever had, the bathroom is perfect, and your breakfast is brought to the room. You will enjoy your stay !

We were driving to Southern Germany from Northern Denmark...

We were driving to Southern Germany from Northern Denmark and needed a place near the motorway for an overnight stop. We arrived at midnight, found the keys in the secure location the hotel had described, let ourselves in and went to bed. We had a very quiet night, woke early, received our breakfasts in our rooms, checked out and got back on the road

The food is well-cooked, but not terribly exciting. The breakfast is nice, very plentiful. Very welcoming staff. Rooms very large and super clean. Lovely beds. Too bad the restaurant closes already at 8 pm

High price for the room.

High price for the room. Basic breakfast with packaged products. Right on a busy road. Room full of knick-knacks and various accessories. I would have preferred homemade jam and a fresh croissant. Dogs are very welcome.

Great place with fantastic staff.

Great place with fantastic staff. Breakfast is served in the room and is really delicious. Large and well-decorated rooms with super good beds. Due to renovation, it's a bit messy outside, but inside it's nice, clean and cozy everywhere. We look forward to seeing the finished result :-)

A charming hotel with heart, family-friendly, modernized...

A charming hotel with heart, family-friendly, modernized rooms, quiet location facing the forest and towards the lake. A large, varied breakfast is served in the room. Coffee and water are complimentary. Very friendly and attentive staff. Just a few minutes to the lake, free parking. Excellent value for money. We felt very comfortable.

The owners, staff were very friendly and helpful. Helped with our motorbike luggage, brought dinner and breakfast to our room, we had a dining table in the room and a patio area. Lovely hospitality bag, lot of thought gone into it. Lots of really nice little quirks about this hotel.
