Everything was fine, no disappointments whatsoever, an average, well-maintained place. The accommodation, however, was outstanding in terms of its amenities and the host's attentive service.

In shops, for example, we were asked about our reason for traveling and what we wanted to do there. Some people couldn't imagine that we were actually going on holiday there, haha! But we had a destination: the Ernst Thälmann Workers' Club, and it was worth it – a great experience for an old East German! Otherwise, there's really not much going on.

Unfortunately, I can't provide any information about Oschersleben itself, as I spent both days at the racetrack during a fun race weekend for motorcycles. It was quite an experience, though, even though I'm not a motorcyclist myself.
