I had to knock on the owners door to get keys. They have an infant so I felt bad bothering them but I did ask for some coffee for the next morning as I arrived on All Saint's Day and the next day Sunday everything was also closed.

Beautifully renovated apartment that was perfect for a family of four. Sometimes family rooms feel very cramped but ours was spacious with plenty of storage space, bonus was a balcony with a lovely view. Even the common areas of building were decorated with great attention to detail. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to ensure we had an exceptional stay. My only regret was that we didn't spend more time here as it was the best lodging of our summer holiday.

Pegnitz itself doesn't really have much to offer.

Pegnitz itself doesn't really have much to offer. Apart from the retail shops, there's not much to see. The restaurants weren't anything special either, just standard fare, but okay for a few days. We stayed in Bayreuth, which is a bit more lively. But if you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you.

The male staff member was very kind and cheerful. He carried my luggage to my room. The bedroom was spacious and very clean. The bathroom and toilet were also well-maintained. The table was large, so I was able to do my makeup and other tasks efficiently. This was a wonderful hotel that made me want to visit Germany again. I would like to eat at the restaurant here next time. I look forward to seeing you again.

A great, spacious accommodation, perfect for travelers as it's close to the motorway, yet very quiet and in a rural setting. The landlord is very friendly, easygoing, and welcoming to children and dogs. Everything worked perfectly. The shower could use some updating, but otherwise, everything is very practical and fully equipped.

Not recommended... No one can control germs in the water... But warnings about them should be in bathrooms! No service... No friendliness, no welcome. Expensive rest stop food on top of everything else! Waiting 30 minutes for a coffee at breakfast...! Seriously, 89 euros... Rest stop prices for absolutely nothing... Disappointing.

We only stayed one night, but we found the town very beautiful, in lovely surroundings; we could easily have stayed another day. We ate at the Ponfick restaurant, which I highly recommend – a truly authentic Franconian beer hall.

A very nice town in a good location in the heart of Franconia. It's an excellent base for visiting Nuremberg and other cities, and above all, it's very convenient for Bayreuth and the Wagner Festival, which was our destination.

Room is nice and very clean. The bed is comfortable. There is big desk for work. Tasty breakfasts. Hotel is well located. The service is very nice. There is paid parking in front of the hotel (free during the sunday, during the week free between 19-9, also Hotel gives 1hr for free in case of need), but near there are free parkings.

I really like the location of the hotel, literally in the center of the town, everything was reachable by short walk. I also liked the breakfast, was very tasty and rich. Room itself was spacy and clean and communication with the stuff was without problems.
