I didn't stayed in this Hotel, I came there, but they said me that my booking is a SCAM and in their system there's no a booking for my name!!! And at the night after a long trip I was very tired. I loved the location of the property. I enjoyed the variety of nearby restaurants and stores. I liked decor of the property. I appreciated the walking distance from the train of the hotel. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant personnel) were very friendly and ready to assist. The breakfast, offered by a connected restaurant, was delicious and satisfying, and well worth the cost.

Beautifully renovated and furnished apartment close to city centre. Host had excellent communication, met us at property to let us in, was very helpful. Apartment was very well equipped (tea, coffee, shampoo, shower gel), very clean, with comfy beds. Host even left lollies out for us!

    I specifically visited to see the icon museum which is...

    I specifically visited to see the icon museum which is wonderful. But I liked the friendly manner of the people and the attractive old town. I didn't need to do any major shopping but the Palais West Centre seemed to have everything. I enjoyed sitting drinking tea outside and because of the warm Spring weather I was even able to catch the bus to spend an afternoon in Copa Ca Bakum in Herten.

    Our main activity in Germany is shopping.

    Our main activity in Germany is shopping. Since many of the individual shops gave gone in favour of chains in Palais Vest we no longer spend much time in Recklinghausen centre. We used to do 2 or 3 visits per trip. Barbara's shop is a newly found treasure trove and we did return there a couple if times, but not any other shops in the centre.

    Very friendly staff, very clean and modern hotel in a good location. This was our second stay here and we will definitely stay here again. Decent breakfast. Ability to check in until late and park in the basement is a big bonus.

    We had a fantastic stay. The bed is very comfortable, the sauna was great and having a fridge was perfect. Recklinghausen was a cool place, it has everything you need. Aldi and Rewe are only 5/10 minute walk away.
