The room is very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to Lake Königssee. It takes about 20 minutes to walk and is just a bus stop away. Breakfast is great. The owner is very warm and hospitable. Highly recommended.

    Comfortable hotel in a wonderful location with nice mountain view. Excellent meals at hotel and Brenner Bau in nearby Bishofswiesen. Easy driving access in nearby areas - not overcrowded in October season.

    Schönau am Königssee is a truly magical place, surrounded by some of the most stunning natural landscapes I’ve ever seen. The crystal-clear waters of Königssee, framed by towering alpine peaks, are simply breathtaking. We took a boat ride on the lake, which was peaceful and allowed us to fully appreciate the beauty of the area. The town itself is charming and serene, offering a perfect blend of nature and relaxation. Whether hiking, boating, or just enjoying the scenery, Schönau am Königssee is a must-visit for nature lovers. We can’t wait to return!

    We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely.

    We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely. Such a beautiful and peaceful ride over to the island. The trumpet was great and the echo was brilliant. The only problem was the captain of the boat did not explain on the ride over the history of it all in English. He claimed to not know that there were English speakers on board.

    Hiking here is amazing! The lake is extremely beautiful. Hiking, you will mostly see only Germans or Austrians. Is you take the ferry, which you should, you'll see people from everywhere and it feels more touristy, but still beautiful.

    Visiting this place was just breathtaking.

    Visiting this place was just breathtaking. Everything is so clean and neat. Nice people and nice surroundings. Mountain views are beautiful. Super close to Switzerland if you are hesitating to see Mozart house and see the town. Also close to the Eagle’s Nest.

    The breakfast was amazing!! There was an omelette , different kinds of sausages , very delicious pies. The room was cozy and well cleaned. I liked being there .Oh.. and don’t forget swimsuit . There is a small swimming pool and sauna. The hotel is not far from Konigssee, only 7 mit by bus . The bus stop was near the hotel , just cross the road.

    The Hotel was at very nice location close to konigsee and the staff was really exceptional friendly and helpful. We were able to reserve Sauna at night, also there are free massage chairs. The breakfast was delicious and the food in the restaurant was also awesome.

    Breakfast was very good, plenty of everything, fruits etc. The hotel was very cosy, lovely garden, clean rooms, helpful and polite staff. Location was perfect; peaceful enviroment, busstop near the hotel. Guest card useful! Sauna was nice after hiking.
