A wonderful place—truly scenic, with stunning natural surroundings. There are plenty of walking paths to explore, and a beautiful forest just behind the hotel adds to its charm. Cycling options are also available, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The breakfast was very delicious and satisfying. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, the location was great. Even the receptionist dog was nice, though he did bark a little! Would definitely stay here again!

    The museum in the Upper Castle is the best thing to visit in Siegen, which explains the history of the royalty who lived there, especially the Nassau / Oranje family whose descendants are still on the Dutch throne. Also good detail of the iron ore mining and iron/steel manufacture locally. We didn't find much else in Siegen to tempt us, but were glad to go out to Freudenberg to see the large number of attractive timbered houses.
