GermanyWe messed up on our reservation and the owner was SUPER accommodating - above and beyond. Our rooms were super comfortable and both had a balcony with a great view. Outside of town, so super quiet and you can hike the Black Forest directly from the hotel and still have a close drive to Feldberg, Titisee, Triberg, etc. Breakfast was a standard German buffet and everything was excellent. We were surprised to arrive at the hotel in the evening and see lots of local cars in the parking lot, but realized it was for the great dinner. Inexpensive and fantastic!

IrelandWonderfully friendly and warm atmosphere, we were made to feel truly welcome. I would like to say it was like staying with my family, but my family are not that nice!!!
Well at least, my family do not cook as well. Breakfast and evening meals were always excellent and we highly recommend taking the half-board option as the food excels expectations.
We are going back again, soon.

Titisee-Neustadt is a charming town with a lot to offer.
Titisee-Neustadt is a charming town with a lot to offer. The lake is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing stroll, and the town center is full of character, with lovely little shops, cozy restaurants, and plenty of ice cream stands. It’s a great place for a peaceful getaway and to enjoy the Black Forest atmosphere. However, one unpleasant experience during our visit was dinner at Musse am See – Bio Asia Dining. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 children, and we ordered at 8:20 PM. The service was extremely slow and disorganized: The first dish (for one child) arrived at 8:50 PM. Two more dishes (for adults) came at 9:05 PM. The remaining four meals (for one adult and three children) didn’t arrive until 9:20 PM. A simple Sprite took over 15 minutes, and only arrived after my friend went to the counter to ask about it. The staff seemed unaware until she pointed it out. To make matters worse, the waiter spilled the Sprite onto one of the children’s meals, which completely ruined it—and the child didn’t eat after that. I love Asian food, but this was by far the most disappointing experience I’ve had at an Asian restaurant. It was a real letdown in an otherwise lovely town.Guest review byDonnahSwitzerland - 2.0

We stayed in Titisee many years ago when it was a lovely quite place by the lake, now its like Disneyland with hoards of people and tatt. The cafes are all average with gloomy staff. Titisee-Neustadt is a truly charming destination, nestled in the Black Forest with a beautiful lake and picturesque views that feel straight out of a postcard. I’ve visited twice — once in February and once in May — and both times I was lucky to have sunny weather that made the surroundings even more magical. The town itself is cute and definitely has that classic "Kurort" (spa town) feeling. It’s clean, tidy, and built to please. However, it’s also extremely touristic. Almost everything feels curated for visitors — from the Black Forest souvenirs to the so-called local specialties (with matching tourist price tags). It can feel a bit artificial at times, like a movie set of a perfect Alpine village. That said, if you're looking for fresh air, scenic walks, and relaxing lakeside moments, it’s still worth the trip. The area is beautiful, lots of attractions for families with kids. We enjoyed taking a boat out to the lake, the minigolf, and the waterpark. We also did a lot of nature hikes in the area which were amazing. reasonable driving time to most popular attractions.Guest review byHemdaIsrael
