This hotel is truly amazing. The rooms are modern and clean, the staff is kind and helpful and the breakfasts we’re delicious. I also recommend trying the nearby restaurant with the same name as the hotel. If I ever come back to this region I will definitely chose this hotel again! Highly recommend!

Everything! Breakfast is really amazing, lots of variety of different cuts ( fish , meat ) , cheese , fruits , vegetables, freshly cooked eggs per your request with many options of adds on and even 4 different types of mushrooms to choose ( quite impressive! ) , freshly squeezed orange juice- really full rich breakfast. Rooms are spacious and clean , housekeeping services is like little bees - few minutes and room is speck clean again ! In the room you have amenities robes and sleepers . Reception is very friendly and helpful . Have gym and SPA but unfortunately we didn’t have time to try it . Location is central. The best choice!

Not recommended.

Not recommended. One-third of the spa area was out of service for the entire weekend. Reception was completely overwhelmed and didn't know who to call when the only maintenance worker was "sick." The staff were extremely dissatisfied and made their displeasure known. The manager was asked to get in touch. To this day, there has been no response.

The pool water could be a bit warmer, and more chairs or loungers would be nice (space is limited when it's crowded). We weren't sure where to put our things. The sauna and hammam have a sign saying you have to get naked (well, old and young people, everyone should be able to do as they please). It's a holiday, after all.

A wonderful place in the Black Forest to unwind and slow down. I would have loved to stay longer; there was still so much to discover. We had a fantastic hotel experience with our baby and would gladly return.

The staff and food were very friendly/good. The hotel is dated and in some places looks antiquated and somewhat neglected. The Wi-Fi is poor. There's a conservatory/breakfast area. There's mold in the shower grout. The sauna only opens in the afternoon. The pool water and air are quite cold.

The hotel is located in a secluded spot surrounded by beautiful nature. The food is good, but the portions are too small. The menu isn't varied; you'll have tried everything after a few days. It's not good value for money. The staff seems overwhelmed, especially at breakfast.

Great location, very calm, right in the Schwartzwald. Our room was on top with great view on the forest and small spring/pond. Simple but good breakfast. Hotel is from 1980-s so the furniture and decoration are correspondingly. For us was fine, but it worth to mention that this is not a "brand new" design. Old family hunting house with own style - we liked a lot as it is very authentic to the place. Very clean, room cleaning everyday. Tasty lunch.

Traditional decor, spotlessly clean. Great top room with mezzanine. Frau Stürner is super friendly. Lots of parking outside the hotel. NB Mondays and Tuesdays are Rest days for Staff so found the restaurant closed. Frau Stürner kindly directed us to a hotel 10min walk away which was lovely.
