Svostrup Kro is 250 years old, and in the middle of no where. That's why I go. It is clean and the staff is incredible, but if you want night life, the ability to "pop" over to the store, don't go. Leave your room for us. Additionally, it is well worth the extra $$$ to reserve the more expensive rooms. God rejse!

I was a wonderful stay. The staff smiles at you as if you are a good friend. From the first to the last interaction, you are leaving with a great impression( front desk , waiters , bartender, and the back operations too) Dinner was a great experience, and I have followed the waiter recomandations. I was not disappointed. The room was super clean and plenty amenities to choose from. The music in the restaurant and lobby was nice and relaxing at the right volume. Big parking space .

We were on a cycling holiday, great area with lots of...

We were on a cycling holiday, great area with lots of opportunities! Many good places to eat in the area. We visited Svostrup Kro on Mortensaften, recommended! The area around Gjern is varied and has beautiful natural areas, easily accessible, not far from Silkeborg and Himmelbjerget!

Overall, very good.

Overall, very good. The overkill of emails and repetitions is annoying, making it difficult to maintain an overview. For just one booking, even after arriving home, there are more than 20 emails, including repetitions.

Beautiful pool, large grounds for children.

Beautiful pool, large grounds for children. The accommodations are quite basic and small. There's a lack of storage furniture. The kitchen is well-equipped and the amenities are quite adequate. Privacy between accommodations is minimal.
