We used this as an overnight stay on our way to Stockholm. Close to the highway but with nice 'holiday' atmosphere being close to the beach. We had a little issue with bed linen that has been resolved by Lars in an excellent manner. No nonsense accommodation, very clean. Good value for money.

Set in a quiet rural area one hours drive from Copenhagen. Horses and farmland all around. Owners live next door and are friendly but leave you alone. Completely self contained detached property, kitchen, bathroom and lounge bedroom area upstairs. Very quiet.

The hosts were very friendly they gave us drinks and sweets while we waited for them to check the property. We only booked the property half an hour earlier. The studio was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Holthug isn't really anything special, but the surrounding...

Holthug isn't really anything special, but the surrounding area is. It's close to the chalk cliffs. You can easily visit them all and get up close at various locations, and you'll also encounter some very charming villages. Don't forget Rodvig. Beautiful and charming. A great start to a tour that continues past Stevens Klint. And relatively close to Koge and Copenhagen.

Lovely place with beautiful tranquility.

Lovely place with beautiful tranquility. Sweet helpful hosts. A truly romantic country idyll. Several lovely terraces with cushions and blankets. Delicious breakfast with enough to take some with you for a small lunch. Orangery with birds and green plants. Definitely recommended.
