We spent a night at Gunnar and Claudia’s Bed & Breakfast. Our room was very pleasant, the furniture and objects were chosen with great taste, the shower was very comfortable, and the bed allowed us to enjoy a truly restful night. The breakfast room is the jewel of the place: the furniture and tableware are beautiful, the cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, and jams are delicious, the warm bread releases a gentle steam when broken, and Gunnar is busy in the kitchen preparing pancakes. The hosts are charming—we hope to return someday, as they have created a haven of peace and good taste. The region also has some very interesting towns, such as Aabenraa with its fascinating harbor. A heartfelt thank you to Gunnar and Claudia for offering us this little cocoon.

This was one of the best bed and breakfast experiences we have ever had. The owners have recently started their bed and breakfast business, and from the very beginning everything felt perfect. The host and hostess are wonderful, open-hearted people who truly go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was outstanding, and the room was beautiful—authentic yet personally styled, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We honestly cannot think of a single negative thing about this B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay. Dear owners, thank you so much for everything. The Hotel Norden ticked all the boxes. Friendly and efficient staff, delicious food, and probably the best shower we have had whilst traveling through Denmark. We arrived after a long day on the bikes, and immediately felt at home.
