We chose to stay here for one night due to the proximity to the airport because we had a very late arriving flight. Very happy with our choice! Excellent service at reception. Very comfortable beds. Nice breakfast in the morning before heading into Santo Domingo city for the week.

When you enter in the room you are welcomed by a great smell of soap and you realise immediately that everything is very clean. There is AC and a fun on top of the bed (which I prefer to the AC), Wifi working perfectly everywhere, even in the garden. The owner is just great, in 4 days he found us: the best rate to change money, trusted excurtion, a great restaurant, a rented car (we wanted one with full insurance to avoid trubles) and, whatever we needed He was there for us. We were supposed to change structure after 2 days, but we cancelled and staid 2 days more because we felt pampered. Other details: Great breakfast , pool, books available for you, the beach is 1 minute walking distance away "very convinient" They washed our clothes for a very cheap price (3 shirts, 2 shorts, 7 T-shirts and incountable socks and underwear for the equivalent of 3.5 dollars), I loved that because I am now moving to another country and I hate packing dirty clothes. If you come here, you can even stay alone, because with Giuseppe you will have everything you need I will definitely be back Thanks to them!

Sad, overpriced and not very nice.

Sad, overpriced and not very nice. A lot of rubbish everywhere. No local culture. Beaches were poor. Theres a view of a large powerstation from the beach. No good food available apart from ridiculously overpriced top-end restaurants. Very shabby and disappointing overall. A poor end to a disappointing trip to the Dominican Republic which these days feels like a rerirement haven for expats. We left feeling deflated.

Nice city with so many changes in the years I've been.

Nice city with so many changes in the years I've been. A bit annoying to deal with the vendors who seem to come every 5 minutes. Also watch out for the locals who try and get you to sit down and eat . They will mark up the prices of the food to make money off of you . I recommend you take a picture of the menu and sit yourself down and wait for someone of the establishment to atend you . The locals will try and hustle you out your money

Boca chica is a nice place to stay however you have to be...

Boca chica is a nice place to stay however you have to be careful with the host of these properties they're not all trustworthy. After being confirmed by booking.com to stay at a property then get there at 9:00 in the night and being told it's not available and it has been canceled only to check booking again and find out that it's still saying confirmed that is not the way to start your vacation.

The beach is beautiful and great for families, unfortunately it isn't a safe and welcoming place. You have the aggressive beach sellers that are rude and many are disrespectful. Also, the food vendors/restaurants on the beach charge outrageous prices and add overly high taxes to everything you order and many charge separate for on-the-beach seating. If you pay for a water activity, you will most likely get scammed! It's just not fun or safe for anyone anymore

It is a nice town.

It is a nice town. Close to Santo Domingo international airport(almost 20 min driving). Locales are always greeting and ready to help and give you advices of places to visit and how to get them. You will find a varieties of restaurant (Italian restaurants, traditional dishes)many little convenient stores, banks, church, parks, bakeries , and their beautiful beaches. They have buses that can take you directly to the colonial are on Santo Domingo for a reasonable fare. People who like water sports will.find many options here to have fun.

Its a small turisty town with nice beach. Restaurants and bars next to the beach. It is not seems to be safe. It is not clean what so ever. Infrastructure is very limmited. Lots of social problems. And preaty expensive for Dominican standards. This place could be a paradies with not so small improvements. People from Italy holds few restaurans and hotels and are prety nice. Puerco Rosadio restaurant i've eat best pasta and paella, Fabry for pizza, Residentia la Palmeras Riki is fantastic place for stay, its Close to few fancy restautants with terase floatinhg in the ocean. Nice gorchery store Ole... most people are very nice and calm. Lots of people asking for money and you cannot pass them easily. Lots of street and beach sellers.

I planed to stay with my Family for 1 day. Finally we extended for more days. The staf is really helpful. Helped to organize a trip to San Domingo. Rooms are clean, with Wifi. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. Near to the hotel is beach with no waves, ideal for small kids. On the room there is LCD with Netflix. We enjoyed Dominican breakfast and omelette . Some staff does not speak English, but has a big afford to help.

We stayed for one night only (arriving late and leaving early) and for that purpose it was more than enough! The staff was kind enough to receive us at 1.30 am after our flight. The room was spacious and the beds ok for one night. We had great empanadas for breakfast and managed to exchange money right outside of the hotel.
