My wife and I had an amazing stay at Ruta de los Volcanes. The family who run it made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. They were generous with their time, helping us organise trips and making sure we saw the best of the area. The food in their restaurant was fantastic. fresh, homemade and perfect after a day hiking. What made it extra special was their warmth and care. It felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel. We left with wonderful memories of Cotopaxi and real appreciation for the people who made our trip so memorable. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at Mateospaxi. Aracely, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, yoy really feel very welcome. She helped us with suggestions for hikes and for the transportation to get there. One night we had dinner with her, it was delicious.

What didn't I like?! Absolute friendly staff (they kept the restaurant open longer for us due to our delayed arrival), the view from the ranch was gorgeos, the ranch itself is upheld perfectly, the rooms are clean and nice. Beds are suuuuuuuuuuper comfy!
