Loved everything; location, magnificent/ friendly staff....generous and outgoing everytime. Great dinners, beautiful flavour. Provided with a delicious smoothie upon arrival. AC blows cold in faultless sparkling rooms ! Assisted us BIG time with train bookings, couldn't have done it without them. Carried our luggage and on it goes. Wonderfully genuine people, Savoy's the only place to stay in Minya.Been there 100 years. God bless these great people..

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was great, the shower was good, toiletries in the bathroom were lovely and the items that were free with the minibar - water, biscuits, etc were a welcome treat.

Istanbul is a small hotel located on the boulevard along the Nile river. It occupies the 4th floor in an apartment building and from there you have a splendid view of the Nile valley. I used the city el Minya and this hotel as a starting point for a visit of the famous tombs of Beni Hassan.

I'm traveling the world, which means I've been to so many places in the world and experienced so many things, but the stay in this village was outstanding. Since you're traveling in Egypt, I think you've heard that you have to be careful about some Egyptians who try to cheat you and some more things about safety. I'm sure this village is the exception. Peter, the host of this accommodation, is a super nice and trustworthy guy. He did almost everything to make our stay memorable. He speaks multiple languages very well, and has a respect for guests at the same time. When I left there, I felt like he was my good friend. And he's also trusted by almost everyone in the village, which allows him to show the guest real lifestyles of the locals. I love all the views of this village because they are so peaceful and natural unlike other touristic cities. But more than that, I think the best attraction of this village is people living there. They are so friendly that literally everyone smiles to you and wants to communicate with you regardless of their English ability. I will be a repeater for sure.

It took me a long time to looking for the words to rate this wonderful hotel. The fact that I am writing now does not mean that I have already found it, but the Booking rightfully expects me to say something, if I want to at all, because it cannot give me more time. Well, in light of this, I would first of all like to thank the polite staff. Among them, I would like to single out Mr. Hany, from whom, in addition to his excellent courtesy, we also received warm human gestures. The hotel sparkled with cleanliness. There was a wonderful view of the Nile River. We had a hearty breakfast and a tasty dinner. During our stay in Egypt, this hotel was by far the best. Trained and courteous guards take care of the safety of the guests, but at the same time, we did not feel that they restricted our movement in any way. The hotel holds its own in the world as well. I stayed in Switzerland on the shores of Lake Geneva a few years ago in a hotel of a similar size, and now I have to say that the Holy Family Hotel is in no way inferior to the Swiss one.
