Incredible boutique hotel in the heart of Altea. The staff made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived to when we checked out. Adored the art deco feel of the accommodation from the reception to the rooms. The location was amazing with walking distance to the shops, cafes and beach. We can’t wait to come back.

This place was amazing. The location was perfect. Right in the old town, close to the cathedral plaza with many restaurants. Only a 5 minute walk from the beach. Also they served you a delicious breakfast every morning and the staff was very nice !

Our room was amazing in everyway, we were given an upgrade upon our arrival. We arrived on the early flight and we were aware of the 4.30 check in. We arrived around 1 pm expecting to dump our bags and go for a walk. But no the staff were amazing, the lady made us both a coffee and enjoyed it in the amazing seating area and then reception confirmed our room was ready. Couldn't fault anything

It was nice that hotel was not big (no tiny either), corporation owned, but still family ran business which made this stay more personal. We really liked this family - both wife and husband, they were really sincere to guests. Besides we liked restaurant on ground floor of the hotel - would like to dine there more, but made it just once, because it is closed 1 day per week. And the view - turquise blue water and beach view - just awesome, could watch this for hours.

    Pebble beach so you really have to hire a sunbed which costs 21 euros for two beds and a parasol. Cost mounts up if you are doing that every day. Old town up the hill was lovely. Lots of nice places to eat.

    Picturesque old town with new town for shopping and...

    Picturesque old town with new town for shopping and restaurants close by. Perfect for a more relaxed break. Tramline connecting to Calpe and Benidorm for €2.50 return if you want to see something different. Be prepared to channel your inner mountain goat as quaint traditional streets are certainly a steep climb.

    Lovely town, but if you want to spend time in the centre, its best to stay in town or have your own transport. If not, a resort hotel is a good choice too. Altea old town is extremely picturesque, with amazing views of the area. The beachfront promenade is also lovely, with plenty of restaurants amd bars to choose from.

    Altea is a beautiful village with an old town center on top of a hill. It's a lively town center with shops, restaurants, live music and beautiful sea views. It's a short drive to many wonderful hiking trails and even waterfalls. I much prefer a smaller village for getting to meet local people.

    Fantastic authentic Spanish town with combination of real local native Spanish and also tourist popular and very busy old town with pretty shops and great restaurants. Stunning church and best of views. Lovely beach and promenade area. Stunning views. Good public transport.

    Pretty town with some lovely restaurants, beautiful sights and gorgeous cobbled streets. Very steep in places but that was good for us as we never normally exercise on holiday! A relaxing place to be with lots of shops and some historic sites to see.

    The room was exactly as pictured and described and very good value. We loved the location, with the hotel café being right on the seafront. It was easy to check in outside reception hours with the codes provided. Breakfast was copious and delicious! Thank you for the welcome the next morning at Reception and all the helpful information about visiting the old town of Altea.

    Hotel Paradise Altea was a gem of a place, gorgeous tropical gardens and lovely swimming pool. Comfy day beds and hammocks in the garden. I loved lazing around with a beer or glass of wine from the Honesty Bar. Lovely staff and great home style breakfast every morning. We will return.

    Romantic, relaxing, amazing staff, comfortable bed, the room was perfect cozy and cute, every detail was taking care of. Definitely pay the extra for the spa, it was the perfect escape for my partner and I to relax together. Without a doubt one of the best hotels in Altea.
