The breakfast was amazing, actually, a wide variety, all handmade by the host. the dinner offered additionally was a dream. the atmosphere was fantastic, one felt both at home and in a new space, with all privacy given if signalled for. the design of the place, with all the love for detail and 'language' was overwhelming, so was the host. the interior was done with such love for detail, and good taste, very special. all rooms have their 'distance' from the common rooms.

Receptionist is very helpful. When we arrived we were before check in time but she willingly gave us a room. Also I asked her to give us a quiet room because the night before we didn’t have sleep at all because of street noise. She gave us really nice quiet room so we could have a good night sleep. Thank you so much . Also there is two different restaurants in the same building. It is very convenient and food was great.

Amazing stay on the camino, this is the second time i stay here and if i ever do another camino i will be sure to pass by a 3rd time. The hospitality of the host María is beyond words. Everything is super clean, and the breakfast delicious. Highly highly recommended!

A quaint house with bedrooms rented to individual clients. Decor was charming. Owns Bakery across the road which was delicious!! We met our housemates and shared wine we bought at the dining table. No staff is in the house so it was private.

What a gem, such a treat to stay here whilst walking the Camino Frances. The room was beautiful, very elegant yet welcoming and comfortable. The bed and bedding were lovely with freshly laundered quality linen (not an old blanket and bed spread as found in many places). The bathroom was modern with a big shower, a rare treat on the Camino! Real shampoo and lovely body wash was also provided. The small courtyard area to hang your washing was very useful. It was very handy having a restaurant downstairs which we ate at. The vegetarian restaurant was incredible, such beautiful fresh ingredients, again a rare treat on the Camino. Elly was a wonderful host and is definitely an all rounder, working the restaurant by herself as well as running the accommodation.

This is the only Albergue in this village abd has a restaurant. It is an amazing experience to stay in such a quiet remote location yet still have good facilities. The food is good. Excellent location, on the Camino and just a few km before O Cebreiro

I can always tell how good my stay will be when interacting with the staff. In this case the staff was one individual who managed reception, waited in restaurant, cooked in restaurant. He was friendly, courteous, professional; I enjoyed talking to him. Hotel was a perfect little place to stay on the Camino. Hotel was nice, room was simple and clean, bathroom facilities were clean, fully stocked. Delicious hake dinner. Well located on a sleeoy, peaceful, small town on Camino. Well done Hotel Ambasmestas.

The staff were exceptional. Sarai helped me to plan my transport out of Ambasmestas, but more than that, she made us feel so welcome. We loved our stay here!
