Tranquil countryside property was located using Google Maps as the GPS in the car couldn’t find it. It is far enough from the A2 expressway to not hear the traffic. Teresa, our host, was welcoming and explained the facilities via Google Translate. The large air conditioner did a great job in keeping us cool in the 2 seperate bedrooms inside the apartment even though the weather was very hot. The beds were comfortable. Use eye shades if you prefer to sleep in the dark as there are emergency lights in the bedrooms. Both have blackout tape over the lamp but they still act as night lights. We didn’t use the swimming pool but noticed others using it.

Situated in Igualada, Somiatruites has a garden, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge.

Very interesting hotel with extremely pleasant staff. The door opens with a fingerprint and the room contains everything you need. Everything is clean, the beds are comfortable, the TV is big, the food is delicious and the hotel staff are always available. This is a hotel that I am always happy to return to.

Molí Blanc is a beautifully restored 18th-century paper mill next to the Anoia River, 3 km outside Igualada in central Catalonia. It offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi.
