This year, I have stayed twice at Letoh Letoh Bilbao (in May and in November), and I feel this place a true gem in the hotel scene of central Bilbao. New, beautiful, stylish, well-curated, super tidy and cozy, too! Plus the staff is nice, helpful and laid-back. The prices of the rooms vary according to the size and the season. In spring I had a bigger (double) room on the 2nd floor, and last week I stayed 5 nights in a smaller, super silent room on the attic. Both rooms were fantastic (but please remember that attic rooms may only have windows on the ceiling). Extra thumbs up for beautiful, spacious bathrooms & great showers. No wonder I've chosen Letoh Letoh again when going back to Bilbao in January 2026. :) There's also a great & trendy café downstairs where hotel guests can enjoy 1 coffee + 1 big pastry with 5 EUR. As a freelancer I often work during my travels, and the downstairs café offers perfect facilities for laptop work. Not to forget that the coffees and pastries (rol de canela, in particular) are really tasty. What's best, Letoh Letoh is PERFECTLY located! Zazpikaleak (Casco Viejo) subway station is just around the corner, although I always prefer to walk in Bilbao. For walking, the bridge to pretty Abando over the Nervión river is only a stone throw away. If you're tired, you don't even need to go elsewhere because the nearby streets in Zazpikaleak are full of pintxo bars and restaurants. After several visits to Bilbao, I have noticed that one of my favourite pintxo bars (Kapikua) happens to be opposite to Letoh Letoh, on the same street. Upon returning to the hotel, it's lovely to grab a few pintxos and a glass of top-notch txakoli (Gorka Izagirre) at Kapikua. In fact, I went there every day last week!

Everything was absolutely superb!! Location,very friendly staff,big rooms with great interior and good quality bedding. Excellent breakfast made with good quality ingredients. My particular room was great, I think I had a jr suite. Also and PLEASE note this: I thought I had left my passport at the hotel and came back form airport to find it. One of your staff who was at the front desk, I think his name was Brian (but it may have been Ryan) could not have been even one drop better at helping me find it. He searched the room with me and even called the place I had stayed in San Sebastian to see if I left it there. He should be rewarded as he couldn't have been more fabulous and calming.

Basauri is a suburb of Bilbao. The apartment is easily accessible for exploring Bilbao by public transport. It's definitely worth a visit. Moreover, you're also close to major roads leading to other parts of the beautiful Basque Country.

A wonderful location for visiting Bilbao.

A wonderful location for visiting Bilbao. A friendly welcome and good explanations of everything. The provision of a train ticket to Bilbao was also helpful. One downside was the barking of several neighborhood dogs.

We saw practically nothing of Basauri except for breakfast (...

We saw practically nothing of Basauri except for breakfast (always at the same place because the service was excellent). We also bought some fruits and vegetables, which was very satisfactory. The best thing about Basauri is its proximity to Bilbao and the ease and convenience of getting around by metro.

It's very difficult to find a place to get tapas.

It's very difficult to find a place to get tapas. Everyone's drinking, but apparently not eating anything besides nuts or crisps they buy from kiosks. We ordered some anchovies from Santoña and they served us a tin of anchovies (just like that) on a wooden board. Terrible value for money.

Very nice and well equiped apartment. Cleaner did an excellent job, the apartment was spotless. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided for: dishwasher, fridge, even a separte freezer, washing machine, (filter) coffee machine, blender, toaster, you name it, it is in the apartment... Excellent shower with a decent amount of water pressure. Nice loggia-like ’outside’ space. Location : 5 minute walk to the Basauri metro station, bars and a supermarket around the corner.

This is very comfortable accomodation, with helpful 24 hour staff, well located in the centre of town with access to the Metro which provides a 20 min journey into the centre of Bilbao. We stayed in this area to visit friends who live close by. Outside the hotel is everything you need and parking is easy. There are limited facilities in the hotel itself which are not needed because you have everything immediately available just outside.

For us, Armine hotel is great location for us visiting family. We have stayed many times over the years, the staff are very good, the rooms very clean however some lights weren’t working in one room.

The location was perfect for my needs, approx 1/2 ride to the Bilbao ferry terminal, hotel had a garage for secure motorcycle parking, staff were friendly
