Arnuero itself doesn't have the same tourist appeal as other...

Arnuero itself doesn't have the same tourist appeal as other places in the area. However, being close to many other destinations, it serves its purpose and is a good place to rest after a day of visiting places like Santillana, Santander, San Vicente Barquera, Isla, Ajo, etc. It's a very crowded coastal area, and the tranquility of Arnuero at the end of the day is much appreciated.

It's a lovely place to get away from it all, with the ocean...

It's a lovely place to get away from it all, with the ocean stretching as far as the eye can see and magnificent beaches... For those who love walking and nature, there are some great trails! I recommend the fish market in Santona and the Astuy restaurant in Isla, where you can choose your lobster from the tank.

Perfect for exploring the area, visiting the beach, or taking excursions. The food is excellent, of course, although if you go to a very touristy beach area, the quality might be mediocre. You can plan a relaxing trip to unwind, or one with excursions to get lost in nature. In any case, it's a highly recommended destination.

A very small village, but close to wonderful beaches such as Trengandin, Berria, Isla, and Ajo. Relaxing landscapes like the Joyel or Santoña marshes, and near a beautiful Romanesque church in Bareyo.

We are walking the Camino and the Hotel is just next to the way. As we stayed there in the low season, the restaurant is closed. But the bar was opened. And we had a place to sit for having our dinner we brought with us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. It was a special place to stay on our camino.

Newly opened, family owned hotel with exceptional design. What we liked most was the warm welcome and the lovely hosts that served us well. Gluten free breakfast was also provided. If we could, we would give it 6 stars. 😃 We will definitely come back.
