Wonderful Spanish architecture- stone or wood floors with rugs, large airy rooms, high ceilings, wide staircases. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast (and dinner if eating in) was at the top of the hotel (and was a lovely room). Good food. I was with friends supporting a competitor in an Ironman competition, so on race day we were up (very) early and back late ….. they laid on early breakfast for competitors and followers- and we ended up having dinner pretty late…. but staff and kitchen were fantastic. I can recommend the Jamón Iberico and the shoulder of lamb! The Parador is easy to find in Argomaniz, and the views over the countryside are super. The area is known for being a bit of a cyclist’s paradise apparently! There is a beautiful garden and terrace to relax in. If you prefer inside, then there are a couple of lounge areas - all very comfortable.

The place itself brings you to rest, the hydrojet shower was a big bonus. The ham and cheese served at breakfast were of 10/10 quality. We came 5 hours later and this was not a problem at all... and at last, the HYGIENE, which was spotless.

Everything was perfect! The staff at the reception was super amicable and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located 2 min Walking from the train station and 5 mins from the old towns core.. But still very quiet in the night. A lot of restaurants around :) My room was superb, super comfortable bed and impeccable... I wish I could get the same standards in Germany/France where my company pays for 200euro expensive hotels (and German hotels always disappoint me).. The hotel is quite new, I think it opened a couple of months ago. You should definitely stay here!

Lovely location just outside Luko. The restoration of this Palacio is amazing, beautiful spacious rooms, quiet sitting rooms, nice garden, the owners’ hearts and souls have gone into this hotel to make it as comfortable and personable as possible for all guests. We loved it.

The rooms where spotless, a fair size that fitted 2 singles beds comfortably with room for walking and luggage. The bathroom was a good size and shower was hot. The cafeteria downstairs was inviting with nice, varied food. Staff where freindly
