Exceptional friendly and attentive staff we would be back definitly ! All the confort we need in a gorgeous property abd very well maintened. We loved the breakfast and the space dedicated to it. Location even better that we thought.

The lady at the reception desk was just the most lovely and polite receptionist ever. The room was quite large and beautiful . Thru our room windows we viewed the garden and a lovely old church.

A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. This place is an absolute gem! You are staying in a beautiful traditional farmhouse where the rooms have been updated to modern standards and the communal spaces have been restored and decorated to reflect their original character. We had the cosiest stay possible, made even better by the truly warm and generous staff. You feel like you’re staying in someone’s home but with no lack of privacy at all. We also really enjoyed the optional communal dinner on Monday night - prepared with local ingredients and the yoga session on Wednesday morning in the hotel gardens was the perfect way to end our stay. Would highly recommend this place!

Gorgeous setting with sweeping views. Rooms are beautifully designed – especially the bathrooms. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful and very delicious! Our hosts were lovely people. We enjoyed a peaceful two night stay at Can Jan. Also the nearby town of Besalú is a medieval gem with a beautiful bridge entrance and some great shops and restaurants as well!
