I stayed in a private room which was part of an old prison. It was immaculately clean and everything was brand new. The double bed was huge, as was the walk in shower. Triacastela is a very quiet place after about 9pm in any case but there was no noise from roads or anything else. They have their own restaurant next door. I wasn’t so hungry but had their Galician vegetable soup which was delicious although other pilgrims in the restaurant commented to the waiters about how good the food was. Lady on reception spoke English well and was very helpful. Would absolutely stay here if I ever visit again.

Really exceptional inn, with curated design in all areas in warm earth tones, a €15 taxi ride from O’Cebreiro but oh so worth it! Petra is the consummate host preparing truly interesting and yummy victuals! I WILL return!
